I, 110%, LOVE moving around with this lil guy. So speedy and the little squash and stretch animations make the character look and feel GREAT. Though sometimes it's a little too fast, but it'd be something I'd just have to get up and get use to. I also adore the concepts you have here, keep runnin' with it all :)
thanks!!
thank you!
Really great quality game, wonderful art, great animations, and I thought the feel of the physics and size of the character were positive aspects of the game. The scope you achieved in two weeks is really impressive, both in the scope of the world and game mechanics. The room interiors are great, and the hidden rooms are fun to find. Some feedback I hope is helpful: I thought the item-combining mechanism didn't add much to this great game yet, but perhaps the type of two-halves combinations we saw was only the introduction of how it works. Separately, in the underground areas, I thought that the background pipes and foreground pipes weren't sufficiently distinct in color/appearance from one another, so I bonked into pipes unexpectedly several times. And I also experienced the softlock at Barthélémy. But those are polish points on an overall excellent work -- great job!
thanks a lot for the feedback!
Wow! Great art and sounds, almost a metroidvania-like investigation platformer. I really enjoyed this, well done!
thanks!
Very nice entry! I was blown away by the diverse amount of features in this demo, especially when I realized you went as far as to add a built-in note taking application. The movement and abilities feel really nice to use, and I can see a lot of exciting potential in the combining items function. My only notable criticisms are that it can be unclear what all the features of the game are if you don't read the full description, so it took me awhile to realize I even had an inventory. That, and upon pressing the interrogate button on Barthélémy while there was nobody to ask about my game got soft-locked. Overall it was a really fun, well-made demo and I found all 4 of the dead-ends!
thanks! i'm happy you noticed the notes system it was very fun to make!! and yeah i didn't really know how to explain everything in a smooth way, i'm glad you still enjoyed it!
I hope you will complete the game, it has massive potential! I love the simple artstyle, the characters are silly and funny. Great job, keep it up!
thanks! i hope too! (but not soon though, i'm tired haha)
This game is insanely high quality! The absolutely love the art style, and the mechanics is brilliant. I'm really looking forward to see the full game. Excellent, excellent work!!
thanks! i'd love to expand this game later but for now i'm tired haha
I really like the inspection mechanism, and the art is very cute!
thank you!
loved the art, incredible. So impressive for a 2 week jam! This is a world like that of Night in the Woods with interaction w/characters and gameplay. Love it
thank you!
Wow, artwork is incredible. Love the bouncy feel to the jumps and the inspect mechanic. Excellent work!
thanks!

Super nice game, looks very good artistically, gameplay is very fun, movement is very nice, and overall polish is awesome. Would definitely look to play this game when it is fully released, which I hope you do eventually decide to do!
thanks a lot!
Nice game and ideas ;) Everything was perfect!
thanks!
So polished! So much going on, it's a full well polished, detective mystery, multi-conversational, punishing platformer. The transitions were smooth like butter and I really liked the little text effects that you had in the talk bubbles! It's those little things that take it to the next level. Fantastic effort! I would maybe add some variation to the jump sound or dull that sound effect just a little as you do it often and it's a little sharp. But other than that, nothing to critique, great effort!
thanks a lot for the feedback!
Wow there was so much game in this game, I'm truly impressed. I'm not a platforming guy but it was enjoyable still somehow :0
thank you!
gorgeous... not to mention this feels very polished, the movements, art, and animations... cherry on top
thanks!
Absolutely loved the aesthetic! The player's squishy stretchy nature is so satisfying. :) And the trees and everyone. Very beautiful. Well done.
And cool mechanic of investigating. But I did struggle a little to remember what buttons to press, but not sure a solution, besides playing it longer lol.
thanks a lot! and yeah figuring out how to assign easy-to-remember buttons was tricky
This is a well polished game, I'm amazed at how much detail you put into it, the grass, the investigation, what the different characters think of each other, damn cool!!!
thank you!
Great job! Love the art style :-)
thanks!
Great game, lovely visuals and music. Personally i wasn't a fan of the movement and found platforming a little frustrating. I think making the movement have less of an acceleration and making the character bigger would solve this perfectly. Regardless, great game!
thanks! and did you find the platforming frustrating because of the plaforms or because of the movement (or both?)
I would say the platforms were quite frustrating, maybe more generous timing? I definitely think a big improvement could be made by increasing the players size. Once again, great submission!
ok, thanks for the feedback!
