Wow that was a refreshing take on the bullet hell VS style game! I liked that you had to get the pickup first to start attacking and that it didnt last a long time so you had to keep on your toes and move. What a great mechanic! Theres even a boss fight! Crazy! I would only add maybe an option to skip the dialogue and jump right into the boss fight, maybe give the boss a little animation when he's hit so you can see that reflected visually. Other than that, what a great game!
thanks! you can speed up the dialouge by holding left click or holding e, but yeah i probably should have added a skip button. oop, i forgot to add that, yeah it should reflect visually when the boss is hit :P thanks for the feedback, i'll keep those in mind :)
I loved this game. Super fun and cute. I loved when there were bananas flying all over killing pumpkins :D.
And it was made all in Scratch!? Very cool.

P.S. I thought the name was Profanity + Frogs. I had a different idea about what kind of game this was going to be before playing it! I feel silly now.

This is a lot of fun! It might be my favorite game of the jam so far in terms of actual gameplay. Unfortunately I crashed at the end so I couldn't see what all this game has to offer, but I had a blast leading up to it nonetheless. I'm giving it a 10/10 regardless because frogge.
lol thank you! yeah the game crashes at round 5 while playing mystery, although you can play bossfight and endless without a problem :P thanks for the feedback tho :D
It was cool to feel like a sketch artist figuring out the frog enemy. I wish the pizza and carrot would stack together instead of overriding each other. Great job!

Nice stuff! Love how you incorporated the detective theme! I feel like the invincibility power up wasn't actually preventing me from taking damage? Maybe i was doing something wrong. Either way, wonderful job!
thanks! yeah, the chili should give you invincibility and the ability to kill anything EXCEPT the truck :P idk it may be glitched, i'll look into it :)

Let's gooo I saved the frogs! Good job on the atmosphere and difficulty. The boss was a nightmare though I somehow managed to beat him on my first attempt with 1hp left! Also great design for clues on the boss:)

gameplay is unintuitive, but fun and the game is cute. however, it is more fun to dodge than to fight.

Really cute! I died to the boss (score: 144). Honestly very impressed as a Scratch game. Took me a while to figure out there were more clues, though, haha.

fun!! i like the quickly drawn artstyle it works well! the powerups are cool and i wish they could overlap, like having the carrot and the pizzas at the same time for example, but that's maybe too powerful idk

Relly good, I liked the fact that there are new mechanics added during the game. Drawings are great too but my only complaint is that sometimes I did not know what was going to hurt me or not. Good job :)

Wasn’t able to beat the boss, but it’s really good! I never understood how scratch devs manage to do the things they do, it’s so impressive. My only complaint is it may be too hard (but that may just be me) and it’s a bit laggy.
