Very cute game! I loved the pop culture references and the Banjo and Kazooie-like dialog sounds. Lots of charm here. Thanks for sharing!

I love the audio design. BGM is great and chill and the birds chirping feel so realistic, just like a real forest.

Overall cute and wonderful game. Great use of the theme too.

Criticism is just - need button mapping in the beginning because I couldn't interact with objects or pick up items, I didn't know what buttons to push.

Also need a "goal".

Nice little game, you can really feel the cozy autumn in it :)

I really like the game's art style. It is simple but really cute! The way the MC bounces caught me off guard but in a good way! It was a really good design choice haha. This game has great potential, I think it definitely needs a tutorial because it took me a little bit of wandering around to figure out that "E" is the interact key haha.  I would also make a little highlight for when you're close enough to pick up plants because I found myself spam-clicking in order to try and pick up plants. Other than that great game!

Great minds think alike huh? :P I thought the vibe was nice, very calm. I like the art style as well, thought it was cute. The map felt too big in the beginning but once I knew where things were spawning it wasn't too bad, especially after getting a broom to fly on.

Nice submission!

I loved all the artwork, including music and sounds. I found it enjoyable and cosy and fitting the theme perfectly. As an improvement point I think some instant gratification would help the player understanding the mechanics better and get them engaged for a longer time.

I found this game really fun. I really enjoyed Steve's lines HAHA. Everything was perfect and I thought the size of the map was actually ideal, especially when you know that the raccoon has a hell of a deal ;). My only suggestion is that picking up stuff was a bit fiddly, but other than that, fantastic and i thought that the aesthetic was very cute :)

Great idea! It really fits the theme, and it’s super cozy. The only thing I could say is maybe the character’s a bit too slow? Makes finding the ingredients a bit tedious, and the map size doesn’t help much. Additionally, the font is hard to read. But other than that, the art, the music, the idea are all great. You could really expand this! Congrats!

Thanks! If you want to go faster try to talk to that strange raccoon, maybe he has something useful...

Great entry to this! I know the controls are on the itch page but I really think that this game would have benefitted from a tiny introductory tutorial to mechanics. The font used for textboxes is a bit hard to read and there are a couple of typos and uncapitalized words which makes the actual font hard to read. I wasn't sure if that was user error or if the font is just made that way.

The two video game character references (that I saw) were a nice touch. Made me giggle. The graphics are adorable and well done, the map is a bit big for the game.
