A really chill game. Ruins were nice to explore and movement was responsive (maybe a lil bit weird in rotation but scince this game had walking to right and left it was not bothering too much). It already made me in the mood to think about what were theese ruins and some puzzles and more structures could make the whole feeling even better, so if you would like to continue developing this game in that direction i will explore it gladly (: Battles were nice (for the record, i tried not to cheat w diagonal attack), for the length of game they were okay and did not start to feel repetitive, so good decision to make it small and nor artificially prolong it! Overall it is strong entry! (especially for 3 days! this is like less than a half)

I cheesed the ants by attacking them from a diagonal tile. Able to declare that as a hitless run.

I noticed that bug like an hour after the jam ended >.<

Thanks for playing!

A very relaxing crawler. It's more like I played in Myst :) Graphics, music - everything is on top. The only thing missing is the challenge. Enemies are too passive and friendly. Although it is clear that the combat is pleasant. Great!

Developer(+1)

Yeah unfortunately I just ran out of time to give the game more substance. Glad you liked the look of it though. Thanks for playing!

Although that was likely not the original goal, that was a pretty relaxing experience. Movement feels right and the view is magnificent. Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful game (or should I say prototype?). I wish there were much more content. I need this to be a full game one day with dungeons and varied alien life forms with exciting new tech.

The level of polish is top notch from the start with a gorgeous opening screen.

I know you had even less days than the rest so I'm impressed that you manage to cook this up that quickly. If you had more days than what you did the combat would probably been better because it needs more complexity and tactical options, and there would be more content.

Well done :)

Developer

Thanks! I knew I was going to be short on time so made the conscious choice to focus on polish over substance. Might not have been the right choice idk, but it's nice to know that I actually achieved what I set out to.

This entry is beautiful to look at! It's a shame the baddies don't move about a bit and force you to engage them - that said, the combat is a bit one-dimensional, so I was happy to enjoy a laid back experience. Overall a very polished show-piece.

Developer

Yeah, the enemies were definitely neglected in this build. I'm glad the visuals/airy chilled atmosphere came through, though. Thanks for playing!

Music is nice and low cut walls are a great idea. Can walk past enemies and didn't need to go back to the ship to win but I imagine that's a result of blowing most of the week; I had the same problem.

Developer

Yeah, a lot of substance got sacrificed to the time gods. I decided to focus on visuals and aesthetics. Might have been the wrong choice in hindsight, but I'm happy I managed to pull off a nice look. Thanks for playing!

Nicely done. I gathered all the materials and left the planet.

The game looks good, and the enemies are nicely animated. Good work on that. (And I know you didn’t just use Mixamo, because it won’t do skeletons rigged like that!)

Know that I say this as a fellow animated movement enjoyer: the movement between cells should be like twice as fast. It feels pretty sluggish right now.

It would be good if you were told how many / what materials you are missing when you go back to the ship. It’s a little too vague right now.

Good job overall though.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! I did mean to add an indicator for how much you need, unfortunately, ran out of time. Thanks for playing!

A nice, zen experience. The wildlife were as chill as I was and didn't seem to bothered by me walking around picking up the stuff I technically dropped earlier, haha. Repaired the ship, got out, left the chill planet behind.

Developer

I ran out of time. They only go after you if you're directly north/south/east/west of them >.< Thanks for playing!

Nice graphics! Great job for only three days!

Turning felt longer than moving, which slowed the pace down a little, especially since you could move so fast. Bonus points for allowing continued movement when keeping one of the keys down.

Thanks for the feedback!

Nice entry for three days work! The graphics are beautiful! Did you model those ? Damn.

Developer

Unfortunately not, I did a bit of tweaking here and there but the models were mostly asset packs. Thanks for playing!
