the graphical style of the screen was INSANELY good, nice job! the gameplay was also super accurate to how those old games felt, which was super cute.
i just wish the decay theme was more apparent in the actually gameplay, but i still had a great time- the presentation was perfect!

Brought me back, lol good job on the nostalgia! Using the arrow keys or a right or mobile version would be epic. Felt like a real handheld.

If there was a nostalgia metric I’d give you 5 stars. I played a little hoping that there’d be some hidden surprise… Maybe I didn’t play long enough? In the credits you mention the system is a 3D model, I didn’t see any 3D effect on my computer but it might have been a cool touch to make it rotate slightly.
Having to actually use the buttons on the system is super innovative and gives the feel of powering on and playing a simple game on an old console. Gotta be my favorite submission
I like the Game & Watch comparison. The only thing that I didn't like was that I had to physically click the buttons with my mouse. With some hotkeys like WASD or something this game would be a blast of the past
This was very nostalgic to me because I used to play games like this as a kid. I love the look of the console and needing to press the power button is a cute touch. I would like to be able to see the bullet moving to the enemies, and keyboard controls are a must.
Cool little game :3 , would be cool if you added keyboard control, otherwise its prety nice
