The game would be easier to understand with a tutorial, and I can't see the theme clearly enough. However, I think your menus are very polished for a jam game, the music was of perfect choice and the artwork is very cute. Good job! Waiting for a post-jam update!

- I enjoyed the classic graphic style and the contemporary farming feel. Music/audio were good for the style. Took me a minute to find my seeds, as I believe others have noted. That's minor and would be fixed with playtesting. Main menu was very nicely done. I will say that I lowered my theme score as I don't believe it stood up enough. I do look forward to the update for chickens, and with that this style of game always lends itself to a large variety of possible expansions. I did note that the posted price of seeds and the actual price out of your wallet didn't match up. But again, playtesting. The night time change was a nice touch. I did enjoy this game overall for what it was.
- It's pretty obvious your game was over scoped. "I'm going to make harvest moon in 9 days" is a little bit more than just "ambitious" lol. But it's very clear what you were going for, and for the most part everything works and the gameplay loop is solid. Issues: -2 of the buildings didn't do anything -Displayed prices of seeds were inconsistent with the actual amount spent. -Day night cycle broke more than a couple of times, and just doesn't work at all in the town. Overall, Cute little game that would have done better if you aimed for a smaller scope, and added some more polish.
- Congratulations on your completed entry into the Fireside's first ever Game Jam! Note, I could not find a way to actually progress in the game even with further instructions given by developer so I can only rate based on what art and music I saw.
Did you work alone, or as part of a group? (If in a group, list their names)
I worked alone
