The Itch.io page description actually killed me xD
It was pretty cool, maybe not as responsive as I like it when spamming a direction, but I enjoyed it,
Theme respected, funny, simple. Good job

Great effort! I enjoyed giving it a few goes, I ended up getting a pretty good run until I hit a section where I had to move twice to the other side of the road faster than the game would allow me to! If you were to continue developing this game in future, I would recommend figuring out a way to ensure when you spawn objects they are not in a zig-zag pattern too close to pass like this:
|----- | | -----| <--- can't avoid ending the run!
Some great suggestions below - just wanted to say I enjoyed playing and the music was a great fit. Good work!
Endless runner = theme nailed :)
It was kind of addictive I won’t lie. The music was really nice fitting the game. In general there were things that could be improved as people have already mentioned below.
Keep it up!
Hey! I think you have a good basis with this project, but to me it lacks a bit on 2 points : controls are hard to use and gameplay is a bit repetitive. So I would advise a few things : allow for keeping an input key (instead of double tapping to go from one side to the other), try to adjust the timing of the movement to the distance between objects on different lines (currently it feels very hard to follow the coins line), build a little bit more tolerance to mistakes (sometimes i went to the side and hit the box i thought was already passed me) and this kind of stuff! Gameplay wise some more variety to the level design could be cool, or a macro loop where you can spend your coins to get upgrades, or even something completely different, i don't know! Of course, all of this applies if you are willing to continue working on it, it is already an achievement to have made a full game in a month, congrats!
Hey, i just played your game and well it was quite fun actually !
I had a hard time getting used to the controls to be honest, but i had a goo time playing it ;)
The highscore system is also a very good idea to keep player interested
Now, i would suggest few things :
All in all, that's a good work :)
NB : I managed to score 2008 after few attemps
You got the theme right! Game needs a bit more consistency in player movement. Nice, simple, cliche game :)
The game's simple, in both a good way and a bad way.
It's simple in a good way because the game is easy to understand, there are no complex mechanics that are overly intrusive in the core of the gameplay.
It's simple in a bad way as it is too simple, and that makes the game a little bland to play after a few games. There's nothing new to spice the formula, you should really consider adding something to make the gameplay more varied. Maybe some boosters that add special effects to your character when you take them.
Also, you should work on the popping of the elements, you can see how the items spawn out of nowhere, and that damages the game's presentation.
Other than that, good work! Keep working and improving it! 😊
