Congratulations on a great entry - this game was really superb. I gave an excellent rating but I do have two pieces of feedback to consider for future games/jams: (1) it was a bit awkward moving back and forth between two hands on keyboard and one hand keyboard/one hand mouse to place the flowers, and (2) the purple and white plants were almost always selling at a loss even when you were right there ready for each bear just due to their initial cost. Other than that I really loved the game and y'all nailed the theme interpretation. Excellent!
Probably my favorite game so far - love the gameplay, feedback given to players, the animations (including the little stuff like angry eyes while waiting), etc. I definitely did not manage to pay the bull back in time and would love to hear if there is a winning strategy because I definitely didn't make it with the best music and sharpest customers at my mega-register. Overall awesome, well polished product!!
Will rate/comment back anyone that rates mine! https://itch.io/jam/game-off-2022/rate/1803152

Thank you for playing! I went back and forth forever on what to explain and what to let players figure out. Ultimately went with "explain controls, but not what to build" though I agree this was a tough obstacle to start the level with. Will spend more time thinking through the tutorial sequence on future projects :)
Hello Fidel! My game is roughly 95% feature-complete and I'm down to just level design, music, and sound for these next 10 days. The video below gives a good idea of the gameplay; it's a dwarf-themed 'city'-builder where you build up a vertical wall while trying to keep your dwarves from going insane. I'm looking to add some dwarf-themed music that gets more intense as time goes on (a playthrough lasts ~8 minutes). What I've currently got in mind is something like youtube.com/watch?v=YxdPIjzWmm4 (the part that starts around 7:40). The music in your other projects sounds great so please shoot me a message on discord (Raaaaaandy#0382) if you'd like to work together!
