Pretty good, games very polished and fun. I would also point out its not very intuitive that the attack is automatic, like vampire's survivor.
We will make sure to make it more clear in the "expansion" that we will be working on after the jam. Thanks for the feedback !
Very, very cool. I had a fun time finishing this game. It had a nice balance in the choices and gameplay. Well done. The only downside is that the theme interpretation could have been more explored within the game mechanics, such as the scale of the backpacks you accumulate over time. But, other than that, awesome! :D
Thanks for your review, I'm glad you had fun !
The theme is the weakest of our categories I agree. We had some more on theme ideas but I doubt we would have had so much fun working on them as on this game. I certainly don't think we would be working on the game after the jam if we picked any of the other ideas which is what we plan to do with this game. But your critisism on the theme is valid, we went more for gameplay this year ;D
Great Game! Its fun to play and i like the concept. Some items should be nerfed :)

Hehe, just enjoy the powerful items for now ;) (Or try to finish the game with the least powerful items instead ;P)
Glad you had fun !
looks really polished but i did find the player's power scaling to be a bit too abrubt, just picking up a bunch of weapons made me want to just run into all enemies with no strategy in mind at all since i knew i'd kill them all pretty quickly.
The combination of survivor and the backpack management was pretty neat.
Balancing is a thing yeah, there is some pretty overpowered stuff in there.
Overall we went with a bit easier game for the jam to make sure everyone can see enough of the game, even if you don't find the most powerful builds right from the start. Maybe one of the daily challenges will be more difficult for you (but only one unlocks each day so you'll have to be patient ;P)
Thanks for your review !
Good job! I liked the graphics. I struggled a bit trying to understand how to attack, as the UI for the weapons confused me, and i think the "Settings" button is bugged, as i got an error from the itch.io page. Overall, is a good game! Congrats.
Oof you are the second person to mention not knowing how to attack, perhaps we took for granted everyone knowing how Vampire Survivors like games work... Defenitely something to think about so thanks for the feedback!
I managed to reproduce your error with the settings screen, first time it worked for me but after getting back to the menu it gave an error so well found. I hope it did not affect your game too much ;P
I think crossbow is bugged. It was only firing Upwards.
I like the idea of not dying but going one level back when you die.
Thanks for your review.
Apparently we made it not clear enough, but each weapon says what it targets. Most weapons will fire at the closest enemy but others will fire differently, like the crossbow: It will always fire north of the player so you will need to make sure you are south of an enemy at the cooldown to make sure it hits.
It was our way of getting more variety in the weapons but having most weapons auto target enemies I can understand the confusion :)
Really great job!! You did a complete work. The game looks really good! I might say, it was a little confusing around the UI for selecting the weapons, but overall, it's a really polished game! Congrats
Thanks for the kind words.
What was your confusion in selecting the weapons? Having to drag them over to the backpack to buy them? Or was it something else?
Always helps to hear feedback like this so much appreciated !
Neat! Overall really polished game! The concept feels a little bit like vampire survivors :D
Thanks for your review!
You're right ! Vampire Survivors and Brotato were among games that inspired our jam entry this year.
