Puzzles and visuals were on point. Totally feel the others on wanting more levels, you added some extra fun to classic Snake. Nice job! :)

Nice small game! Wish there were more levels.

I liked how focused the game was. It knows what it wants to do and does it well. Good puzzles, good visuals. I only wish that there was more of it so I could play it for longer!

Great interpretation/application of the theme by redesigning the classic snake game! I had a lot of fun playing it! I loved the puzzles!

Good job!

Great game! It feels perfectly polished and it is an amazing game idea. The puzzles are well thought through and it felt like a true retro arcade. I liked how time is measured in timesteps. The possibility to backtrack your steps made the game easy to try and review. :)

The game strongly reminds me of a Czech game made for MS-DOS in 1993 called Vlak (translates as Train). It had a similar premise. I recommend playing it if this wasn’t inspired by Vlak. :D Also the second level feels like a Frogger reference.

Honestly, great job with this one. Hope to see a full release someday. :)

Thanks, the Frogger reference was definitely on purpose, although I feel I could have done more with moving hazards than I did.

I had never heard of Vlak (I was 2 years old when it came out) but I gave it a quick try, it looks interesting.

Good interpretation of the classic Snake, I’d make the game a little bit faster when you leave pressed the buttons. Good job.

This was great! Love the twist on a classic game of snake. Nice graphics and SFX too.

Developer

The graphics are mostly from Urizen's 1-bit tileset and I couldn't have made something like this without third-party asset packs.

A snake game where the snake actually eats rats and transverse an environment. Seems like a straight forward concept but I don't think I have seen it done before. The game seems competently made. Good job.

Developer

I really liked your idea, too!

I liked it! The puzzles were cool, and I liked the concept. My only complaint was that it was a little too easy, and I would have loved some more challenging levels.

That... and I wanted to eat the cows...

This is great! I love the aesthetic, and as I am dealing with a mice problem in my home this was very cathartic :) Great submission!

Very good! Theme integration is extremely interesting, would be 5/5 for me if the snake moved faster

Developer

You can actually make the snake go faster by tapping the movement buttons instead of holding them. One tap = one tile.
