Fun little puzzle game, very well made overall and seemed pretty polished :)

Cheers glad you liked it 😀

Thanks for the kind words 🙏

Would appreciate some feedback on the music for this one I'll check out yours

very nice cutsey game!

pretty fun although a way to change the keybinds would've been nice my hands feel so contorted hahaha

Idk what your framework is like but if the collision was removed until the placing mouse click input that'd prob work

Cool game, I was kinda disappointed it didn't lean into the kinda horror storytelling aspect though this medium is amazing for it (also it should be backpack not bagpack) but I love the idea!

This is probably one of the most fun ones i've played so far really well done!

Very fun game, the art is really good looking and the concept is great I had a lot of fun with what was there.

although on keyboard you'd get softlocked if you open the menu

Nice this was pretty fun, I really liked the sound effects those made it way more unique (even though some of them were panned all the way to the left ear)

I actually had a lot of fun playing this cause of the bug where you can hover a bush just below the character to essentially be able to fly anywhere, nice work!

Nice story concept, although the text moved really slow so could do with a way to speed up text lol

also would recommend against using AI for the music, since copyright free music can be found and used just as easy :)

carp bossfight when?

Hey, just was wondering if any additional moderation will be taken this time around when it comes to the top games? It was pretty suspicious and disheartening to see the winner last time win with really low votes with some from completely new accounts without prior history

GOATED entry, loved the rhythm of the mallets in that 2nd track that made it feel like it was tripping over itself. My favourite has to be Dolphin's Cove though, those interesting textures blending together to create a kinda calming ambience almost made me fall asleep lying in bed lmao nice work!

ps are you the same person who worked on BucketHead a couple months ago? I was part of that team making environmental sounds, you're music then was badass and it's a cool tone shift to hear this soundtrack after what you made for BucketHead!

Nice work, love how you blended more sound design based composition with the orchestral style sounded kinda terraria like! How you blended ambient effects at the beginning of every track that flowed into the actual music was nice to hear as well

Hey thanks for the listen, really appreciate this long of a comment it really stands out! Also yeah that's a prototype map, I loved the idea of the game so much I figured I'd try to turn it into a real game with my sister so that these pieces have somewhere to go. Kinda surprised you picked up all these emotions too, cause basically everyone you described is exactly what I was going for!

ps don't worry I think you're the 2nd person I know about that's cried to that track hahaha

psps. yea that's all staccato in the last track, that percussion is supposed to be adaptive to only come in during combat but i didn't know how to convey that so just plopped it in a bar somewhere

the whole production side of this entry is amazing, the amount of effort you put into that side is noticeable and payed off! Also liked how much variety there is in mood between the tracks, good job

Cheers, that first 5 day grind was worth it lmao

Hey thanks so much for listening and this well-written comment, i really appreciate it :)

Can you help me understand what you mean, cause based on the contexts of the tracks (as in where they're played and narratively) I can't think of anywhere that's jarring

Absolutely loved this entry, honestly haven't heard anything even remotely similar so far! Really gives of some "Fear and Hunger" vibes and could 100% see this in a horror, good work!

Amazing work really, that first track got my heart pumping and the mix is great (considering so many other entries are crazy heavy on the mid)

Nice work, I really loved the melodic movement throughout the whole track and kinda felt like I was getting into a trance listening!

ngl haven't heard anything like this so far, so nice work on that front! The panning for the instruments was a nice touch, especially in that first track (although the drums felt a little too far to the right), the sound choices overall were good. I really liked how you were introducing the instruments in the 2nd one, having them all come in one after another instead of all at once for like a bar or something made it alot more cohesive.

Hey another metroidvania OST! I feel like I've said this on every entry but this quality is crazily high, and all the different styles for every track took me by surprise. Really loved the 2nd track though, those percussive sounds bouncing in the side EQ was a great touch and just shows how well produced this submission is, great work!

Actually this jam kinda made me want to develop the game and learn programming lol, thanks for listening and glad you liked the songs!

This is insanely high quality, kinda reminding me of the ori game soundtrack. Great work!

we grinded 5 days straight for this, burnout is crazy though

those oscillator bends on the first track sounded amazing, could probably fall asleep to it really lmao

this is really nice, really love how good you are at building ambience in that first track. did not expect that guitar jump scare in "The Before" but it's sick!

i think this is one of the greatest complements i've ever gotten actually put a big smile on my face after reading it, glad you liked it!

wow didn't expect to see anyone i recognised here lmao, thanks for the listen! Just sat down to listen to yours too and i'm blown away by it, especially "Ascension" the ambience in the beginning is amazing

Lmk what's good and bad in this entry and I'll check out yours too!

(1 edit)

This is sick, really love that bass tickling my brain!

Ahh righto, makes sense

<3

Thanks for the listen! I wanted it to stick out cause I wanted to contrast the two characters at that point and the rest of the soundtrack, shows just how far apart the main character and the cyber-monster boss (her brother) have grown. Explained some more on the project page I think

love that bubble sound used in the first one as a rhythm element, cool to see :)
