Game description
Your super secret organization has learned that there are double agents hidden within the org. As the expert spy hunter you must hunt them down before they can escape!

Theme interpretation
The thought of spies and secret agents popped into my head when I heard the theme of "secret", so this game is all about determining and revealing secret agents.

Wildcards used (optional)

Fun little game! The limited palette work well, and it has a short but fun gameplay loop. Good job!

Cool concept and nice use of the wildcards. Music and Art fits and sets the correct tone for the game. My only complaint is that the interact hitbox could be bigger. Other than that, the game is surprisingly well polished. Good Job!

Thanks a lot for the positive feedback! Would keep the hitbox comment in mind for possible future updates!

very good graphics given the 4-color limit, game works great. Would have liked a bit more depth than "interrogate / get lucky / kill' - more interrogation options, more things you can do in the room - but it works fine as a game already.

Thanks a lot! Yeah admittedly, a lot of the game relies on luck 😅 but I didn’t wanna add a lot more things yet since it’s scaled down cause it’s a jam and it was also my first time using Godot so I didn’t wanna go overboard with the features 😣 maybe in the future I suppose

I really like the graphics and vibe of the game! took me a few tries to get my interrogation skills down to be quick enough to not run out of time! well done :)

Developer

Thank you very much! Glad you liked the graphics and vibe!

Keeping three parameters in mind creates a surprising amount of tension, especially in bigger rooms full of more people. I don't know why spies throw such strange parties though haha! I got through level 2, but level 3 the cracks start to show where different/improved parameters should show up rather than more people. I do love the complexity and doubt however. The premise reminds me of SpyParty, but the execution and limited palette (Great work on utilization by the way), remind me more of a deduction based game like clue or carmen sandiego (vast difference in actual gameplay aside).

Thank you for the feedback! I actually did tweak some variables in level 3 so there’s less suspicious NPCs in order to balance the large amount of NPCs but I guess it needed some more tweaking since it’s not really obvious 😅

Cool concept! It was really interesting to move around the room, and sort of felt like I was in a room full of people.

Very challenging game! I only got to level 2. It felt a bit weird that you didn't know for sure whether you'd found a spy or not. On top of that, a lot of the interactions seemed to take a few seconds, which made it quite frustrating when I ran out of time, and realized I should have just guessed, rather than interviewing a bunch of people.

Thanks for the feedback! Yeah, I guess adding some text animations when you kill a spy would help but I wasn’t able to add more UI stuff due to the time constraint :’( so that’s something I’ll probably add in the future. I was actually debating with myself whether to pause the time when interacting with the NPCs but in the end, I just decided not to in order so that I can keep the suspense and tension.
