I enjoyed it. I love the cute visuals and the particle effects. I also love that you can try to block an enemy with your own body however futile that is xD I suck at this game, but I can see the amount of love put into it. This can be its own full game and I'd play the hell out of it. One minor annoyance I had was that I ran out of mana quick and it regenerated too slowly, and mana potions that dropped are usually very far from where I am. Overall nice game, feels polished, but just needs more balancing. Congrats!

As the proud owner of the current 5th place, great game! Really satisfying with great player feedback! I don't know if the game might have been better without a mana system as I felt like I played perfectly and only took the mana pots when I needed them but I still ran out and could do nothing :( Maybe the difficulty could ramp up a tad quicker but that might just be my taste! Red and brown look a little bit to similar, and I would have liked to be able to select my elements with number keys or so as cycling through them got a little bit messy. But overall very addictive gameplay, good job! Ohh and I love the custom curser that is such a great addition!
First of all thank you for your review. We didn't spent much time testing out the game so mana system might feel like it's not balanced enough. Many people suggested different spell switch I can understand why current one can be frustrating later in the run. We are glad you enjoyed it.

Thanks for giving it another shot, I just updated the game page actually with a GIF to show which spells are for what creature, totally understandable we didn't put a clear way that showed it.

Amazing game! Love everything about it, you've inspired me to create a game that uses online leaderboards. At first I thought opposing elements destroyed them, but soon realised that it was matching elements.

wow, Congrats on being on the leaderboard. Thank you for that 🙌 btw if you are interested, I used Lootlocker SDK for our leaderboard, and was easy to implement. Took me 3 hours to implement and was a last-minute thing to add. But I'm glad to have inspired you to put this feature in your future games. One of the lootlocker team actually played the game 😅

Fun game, frantic music suited the mood. One thing I think that might have helped me, was allowing the mousewheel to change spells, as it got more frantic, the using the same fingers for movement and switching got a little much, though that could just be me! Great jam game!
Really loved all of the attention to detail you guys put into this. From the moment I loaded the game and saw the cursor change I was impressed but I can't believe all the features you crammed into this thing. Although I wasn't that great at the game I still really appreciated the mechanics. Great submission!
We are glad that you had a great time with our game, There were still a lot of features that got cut out due to the time limitation, and to tell you honestly, I only started on the leader board 6 hours left on the deadline and finished with 3 hours left. so glad that there was no major game-breaking bug because we thought that after the deadline we were not able to edit the game anymore. Love defense games, and I love the mechanic that forces you to really move to chase the mana
Played the game but I played it with a laptop trackpad and with that, it's really hard to play.
could see a fair few people enjoying it if its their cup of tea, the leaderboard is a very nice addition.

Now this is my jam, top down shooter! It even has a leaderboard! The mana mechanic works really well and makes you have to manouver around more instead of getting the best angle all the time. Top marks!
