Amazing! I really enjoyed playing it. Improve the graphics after the jam and you have something  nice there.

Love how the game looks and sounds. The story is nice. The 3D part is more fun than I expected. Axe + Needle is really satisfying to get. A good twist on matching game. Great job on the game.

Really well done!  A good evolution of a match game, with some story! Loved this game, so much fun!

What a juicy game, loved all the user feedback and punch this game had, which is important in clicking games to keep the player engaged! Great entry

Gets a bit hard, but the jolly cards are well designed!

It's somewhat fun, but man, how much hard it gets with new cube sides... Really liked that bonus cards tho.

Nice Matching game :)

Fun/Mechanics

It’s a simple matching game. While fun at first, I began to lose interest as the game went on due to the repetition. I found that I ended up spending more time searching for the power-ups instead of matches in the later 3D levels to get the levels to progress faster. Having to flip the cube to find matches is an interesting concept, but I found it hard to keep track of where cards were located. This was probably intentional for increased difficulty, but given the amount of cards you get in the later levels, I feel like it’s asking a bit much of the player to keep track of them given the amount of cards and the different side they are on. That could be just me, though.

Theme

This fits well with the “Two Dimensions” theme. The idea of playing a simple matching game but flipping a 3D cube is an interesting idea

Aesthetics

There’s a few clashing art styles. You got the cutscenes which are done in an MS Paint style. The cards have pixel art, and the rest of the game has a  “3D” art style. The pixel emoji art is cute, but they didn’t seem to fit with the space aesthetic of the rest of the game.

Music/Sound

The music you chose fits well with the game’s space/dimensional theme. I liked the explosion sounds when you match tiles. It made finding a match feel more impactful and therefore more satisfying.

Overall

I think this game fits the theme well and has an interesting idea. I think the matching game mechanics are a bit repetitive, though.

Thanks so much for your rating! This is my first game jam and coincidentally my first game so I'm happy someone was able to play it. There's certainly a lot still left to learn! But you're absolutely right, the game does seem to get a bit repetitive. There's an opportunity to add another mechanic or goal for the player to look for. Thanks again for your rating! I've left one on your game.
