Good selection of art and sound, you took care of it quite well. Some feedback about the mechanics:

  • The game shouldn't quit after you lose
  • Keybinds were a bit unintuitive
  • Better feedback when taking damage (didn't realize your own traps could do that)

I'm also not sure how you implemented the theme. Overall, well done for getting a game out!

Gamepad sadly didn't work and the keyboar controlls are a little unintuitive with enter and backpsace for shooting and building but in the end I couldn't even get up to the tree to defend it- maybe let the player spawn at the tree and have it in the middle of the map and the harder platforming challenges for more money so everyone can atleast start the game proper

I had troubles at the main menu. It forced me to use both controller and keyboard before letting me play and even then it was very sluggish to let me start the game. I am playing solo but had to use split screen. It responded well once I was in the game. It is a very solid platformer.

Looks and sounds nice, and the movement feels good to control. I found it kind of annoying that your own traps hurt you, especially considering how far you're knocked back when you take damage and the lack of I-frames, which lead to me being ping ponged between my trap and an enemy till I died. Otherwise though I like it

Nice game!

Hmmm I couldn't get the game to respond to my mouse or keyboard from the main menu. I'll give it a try again tomorrow

An enemy fell on top of me and I got stuck while constantly taking damage until I died. Other than that it has good graphics and sound. Good job!

I enjoyed the game, but as some comments below has said either allowing different keybinds for the player or using different binds would be better. : )

Overall, the art work, animations, and SFXs sound good, only concern is the layout.

Fun idea, but the button binding was so hard for me, plus I couldn't even get to the tree, the last jump was undoable, I just kept hitting my head. Maybe now that I'm reading earlier comment I should have ran or build menu, but honestly I forgot those. You have a lot of nice elements and for sure I would keep polishing it and creating it even more playable.

Pretty cool game, however, I'm having a hard experience by the uncommon button binding. For example, you have to press M to run where in my opinion, M button to run is pretty uncommon (and I think its hard to press M for run). I think Left Shift is better for running. To open the build menu is using Backspace that also feel weird but ok since we don't need to open that menu often enough. Overall, nice job for completing the game!
