Hi, congrats on your game! :) And congratulations on creating a card game, as they usually require a bit more time to develop. Additionally, I really liked the art style, it was very well done. Regarding the game design, kudos to you! I've always wanted to create a game where you play for both teams, but I could never think of something that would make sense and be balanced. The idea you came up with worked perfectly.
If you have some spare time, I'd be happy to try out my game. A classic space shooter from the 80s with a personal touch sounds intriguing. I'll make sure to leave you my honest feedback.
That was enjoyable! I really clicked on the cards one after the other and giving everyone stuff. Stopped around 350 vs 350 with $4400. Interesting concept.
Great concept and very clean production! Loved the sprite work and little animations especially. Took me a second to figure out how the card draws works but after that everything was pretty intuitive. Very chill despite the massacre going on in front of me. Great work!
Super cool concept well done !
War profiteer the game! I like it simple and easy to understand, good job.
Although I don't know what I'm doing, I just know to balance each other. It's so fun and time killing, you really know how to make a relax and chill game, good job, I also like the aesthetics. Balance mechanics and real fit the theme, good job!
Nice concept, enjoyed keeping the war going. Eventually I got bored and tried to make one side win, which turned out to be quite hard too ><
My favorite part of checking out Game Jam submissions is discovering fresh concepts I've never seen before. Your entry is one such game. Essentially you play as an arms dealer trying to keep the war going in perpetuity, arming both sides. Super fresh idea, right in line with the theme, I love the art, this is an excellent submission.
My advice for developing this concept further would be to make the house of cards you are building grow increasingly unstable. Maybe every card you play speeds up the battle by 1%. Or maybe you just have one deck and have to play or discard cards carefully to not overly bolster one side.
Anyhow, I really enjoyed playing your entry. I hope it gets the attention it deserves!
Really cool idea! I liked how your goal is to balance a war instead of taking part in one, as most games do. I see a lot of potential in this, but I do think you should think about reducing the "numbers noise", as there are too many stats to be able to take strategic decisions. In the end, I found myself spamming cards from both decks and the balance remained. Congratulations on the game, it's very nice!
Cool game :)
Hi, Its cool that a player have to keep war beetween angel and demons equal , i like it :)
This game brought me a fun <3
Thanks for your feedback! It's been hard to teach people that rule. They tend to just pick a side and battle against each other. Maybe we'll implement that into the game as a new game mode.
Great interpretation of the theme. There's nothing bad about this game. The look is consistent, the sound is appropriate, and there's plenty of polish.
For some reason all my card draws were for angels? Not sure if this was a bug or just my luck.
Thanks for your feedback. We need to be more clear about the deck draws, but basically, you should be able to draw demons from the left deck and angels from the right deck.
