ahh i need coin to shoot π
well done.
but change attack key for non US (swiss: Y and Z swapped) its hard to play the game
Oh, I had no idea about that, new to godot π
np :-D but has nothing to do with godot its a general thing
Good basis.
Interesting idea of a knight that stabs back his enemies: original lol!
Others have given you some good suggestions to push this game further if you decide to presue it. I liked the music and the mechanics. Great use of the assets. I would suggest using the mouse clicks for attacks as that will help most players enjoyment of the game. Good entry!
The game has some basic features that are functional, though thereβs definitely room for improvement. It's a decent start, and with further development, it could become more engaging. Keep working on it!
Nice game. The controllers feels a little weird and the game is a little too difficult, but in general is a good entry. Loved the art!
This was pretty fun when I got the hang of the controls. My default is to lean on WASD but that's pretty much impossible with the sword and bow controls (arrow keys are the way to go for this one). The enemy variety was cool and the platformer aspects weaved into it was a unique touch. Nice submission!
I have implemented arrow keys, I forgot to mention it in the description ππ
Great use of the brackeys assets! Overall, pretty fun. I echo the statements about the controls being a bit awkward, but after you get used to it, they work great! Keep making games :)
I admit I'm not a very patient guy XD the game itself is very fun and comes out of the box well. It has only one small flaw... the controls are too abnormal... WASD commands for movement OK, but the attack on Z for the sword and X for the bow are unnatural. You should move them to keys so you can use your right hand instead of doing everything with your left hand. However, a suggestion that I want to give you is: it is better to give a game background on the start screen rather than writing them on the game page. Or rather, it's fine to write them there, but for example, I didn't read them straight away and in fact I didn't understand how to play.
Overall, I think I'll play it again... I like platformer style games XD
I have implemented arrow keys, I forgot to mention it in the description ππ . I will remember to add controls to the game itself next time
Really fun game. Gave you the highest marks thus far. If this worked with a controller might be even better. The Towers building felt use else. The
A new take on a tower defence game - I like it. I did find the controls a little tricky and would have preferred to have an option other than z for sword attack. I think it would probably be better to not charge people coins for the arrow attack either as I struggled to actually get enough coins to build a tower, which I think is the key feature/mechanic of your game. I enjoyed the scene and the setting, I thought you had a really cool collection of enemies with different abilities that were well thought out, and the core mechanics of the game were really solid. This is really an enjoyable little experience that I think you could keep developing on. Good job.
Nice idea. Nice artwork.
Nice concept, I liked the tower building idea, but I only managed to get 40 coins once, and then the enemies just climbed over it :D
I like the combination of combat & tower building. I found it a bit hard, tried a few times but didn't make it very far :D
