Good basis.
Interesting idea of a knight that stabs back his enemies: original lol!

Nice cat. game unfinished. Hard to rate. Anyway congrats for submitting! Keep on going

What the h...? I don't knwo if I must smile or cry!

Very rare experience, indeed.

PS: what kind of pill did you take before making this game? lol!

Good game but very challenging.
Congrats for creating your own assets!

Good basis. But it seems to not really work or I didn't get it...

Nice idea.
Lacks of variety: not enough activities  and / or events.

Given the time and the context (game jam), it's ok!

Controls are smooth.

Nothing on screen indicates when the player can shoot or not.
Holding shift even without moving drags stamina.
Visuals, music and SFX are nice

Nice pixel art: congrats for creating those assets!
Mechanics are nice, with more powers added at every "level".
Music is nice. Would have loved some SFX too.
Being able to aim in the mouse direction would have been a great improvement in my opinion.

Anyway, a good game!

Nice game. I like the visual effects / shader on the screen.
Mechanics is ok too, but a bit difficult to get at the beginning.
Sounds of infected servers is really stressful. I know that it is intended to make feel the urge where the operator is in, but it is a little bit annoying.

Nice idea, original gameplay!

Seems not really playable right now...

For sure, activable powerups would add a more strategic dimension. It’s on my to-do list, for after the jam! Thanks for your feedback and your suggestion!

That's actually a very good idea!
I have used different kind of sounds when enemies are hit or die, but have lefts the crossbow alone, don't know why... as it's one of the sounds that you hear the most in the whole game!

Thanks for your feedback and your suggestion, that I will definitely implement, once the jam is over

One of the best games of the jam, for sure. And the best tower defense, for sure (at least from those I've played).

I loved almost everything: the visuals, the water shader, the variety of towers and enemies, the progress curve.
The story was also very well constructed.
The fact that you have to collect trashes during the waves makes the player always moving and watching. It kept me active during the whole game, unlike a lot of tower defense where there is a build phase and then a wave pahse where you look at your defenses shooting.

Impressive work, really!

One (very) little downside: some collectable trash look exactly the same as the enemies, which can be confusing sometime.

Really a GREAT game. One of the few that I've rated 5 stars (and I've reviewed more than 200 games for now).

Bravo!

Good tower defense game.
Would have liked some BG music / sound.
The game looks good and has all what is required for a tower defense game: a good build mode, a speedup option and is quite challenging! Well done!

Always loved this kind of railway shooter game! Reminds me of old school arcades!
Nice!

Very  nice visuals. Good controls too.
I find it quite hard, but I'm not good at this kind of game.

Anyway, a very nice game!

Fun an very original.

Great idea!

I love the fact that you can upgrade between each run.
I would have liked a visual feedback of these upgrades in UI.
Also, the fact that there is no difference between walkable/playable area and non-walkable leaded me in losing the game because I didn't realized that I was on the edge of the area.
Pixel art are nice too. Good job!

Very nice game.
The progress curve feels good. Maybe a little bit easy (I won on my first try). Would have love more kind of upgrades.

Anyway, a good game. I enjoyed playing it

Really interesting concept. Mixing merging, tower defense and strategy.
At my first try, I got stuck because my workbench kept producing wood and I hadn't created a second one to produce planks.

And, by the way, its has the MOST BEAUTIFUL workbench I've ever seen ;)

Very nice mechanics! Really a good basis for a full game.

I would have loved to get to retry the last level and not have to do the whole game again!

Anyway, congrats for creating your own assets! Amazing!

Very nice game!
I love the upgrade system and the overall idea. Simple but effective!
Very good submission!

I like the idea of trying to get all the eggs, like it's Easter time :)

Is there any way to reload?
Also I felt like invincible? The bunnies kept on hitting me but it didn't seem to have any effect?
It really lacks of UI (remaining ammo, health bar...) and player feedback.

Anyway, good submission!

Don't know what to say.
You managed to create / modify the assets, implemented a lot of mechanics, designed a level, and put a story around it. AWESOME! Congrats!

First of all congrats for creating your visual assets: player, enemy, background! It's awesome. Nice atmosphere!
The enemies seem to struggle with purchasing the player when you get to the higher level of the screen.
Also the collecting Cogs is a good idea but does that do anything once the bar is full?

(1 edit)

Nice idea. Simple but very effective. I tried a couple of times but didn't manage to get a very high score...

Also, I love the fact that you created your own visual assets! Congrats for that!

Thank you for playing the game. I had this experience too, while testing: very frustrating! Maybe I'll consider raising the power ups above the enemies' level. That would allow you to get them at anytime...

Nice feeling but quite challenging!

Loading is a litlle bit long. Because of the way Godot seems to work with Web builds, I have to laod, on the back, all the models and SFX, otherwise, each time a new model or SFX appears on screen for the first time, player experiments a terrible lag.

About the frame rate, I've seen some people streaming it and they didn't experience that issue. Maybe the game is too demanding for your computer's possibility (and, of course, not very well optimised)...

Haha! I really enjoyed this one.
Plus I finally got an explanation of my cat's behavior! Thanks for that!

Really fun submission! Loved it. Also congrats for creating your own visual assets!

You're right about that: should have added a setting for the sensitivity... It's on my to-do :)

Difficult to control, as far as I am concerned.
Nice submission, anyway.

Congrats for submitting your very first game!
I discovered the upgrade menu at the very end! My bad: you wrote it on the itch page.
I like the fact that you can move to get different angles from where you can shoot.
Good job!

thank you very much for your kind words

Nice atmosphere. Good pixel art.
As already pointed out, controls feel a bit weird.
But it is definitely a nice game. Couldn't make it to the end. I'm not good at this kind of games lol!

Very nice art.
I felt a bit left alone with all those building types, notifications and so.
Couldn't figure out what was the best thing to do, even after reading the tips on the game page.

Anyway, this seems to be a very solid basis on top of which you can build a great game!

I like the controls very much!
I bet you don't want driving you to the airport haha!
I had fun playing this game!

Very nice entry. I love the story.
When the player goes diagonally, he goes faster than when he goes up, down, left or right: I think you forgot to normalize the movement direction vector. Instead ogf going (1,1), it should go about (0.7, 0.7).

Anyway, very immersive story. Great pixel art too!

Really well done! Especially if you learnt game dev one week ago!
Smooth controls and good dynamic.
