Nice! Go ahead and feel free to play it. If possible, please give me the link of your channel, so I can also watch. Thanks.

Thank you everyone for playing, rating and commenting my game! I hope you all had fun as I had! See you in the next jam!

Edit: As for the continuity of this game, I think It was a good prototype for an actual experience, but if I will continue, probably will be another game with similar mechanics and more content. But for now I like to take a good rest before working in another project. If you want, please follow me and get notified when something new arrive.

I loved the artwork, specially the transitions in the menus and the “controls newspaper” it mixes very well with the game. Also, a praise for the upgrade mechanics and for using twin-stick shooter. Overall, it is a solid entry! Good Work and keep going!

As some players have found out, there’s a glitch that sometimes a cat defeats you but then just don’t want to fight again. Well, cats sometimes can be very stubborn, so it adds to realism. (jk, I think, is some part of the battle end logic that is running out of sync)

How I start my review… A good take on jRPG genre, I like the humor in the tutorial and the in game story. Oh, and there’s a cat as protagonist, The ‘auto’ mode is there for the casual players who want to focus on the upgrade strategy (CAPITALISM). The assets for graphics and sounds and music go very well together with the gameplay. The mechanics is also very good. A very solid entry! Congrats and Keep Going!

Edit: Just to know, I played for almost one hour and this is my party, I’m still slowly buying upgrades and that can be a thing to be QoL upgraded in later versions of the game. Made many mistakes and give wrong weapons to some characters, losing all the upgrade progress, lol!

As a cat-person, anything cat-themed always get my attention. At first, I thought that It were pure RNG, but in the next tries I notice that the cards are always in the same place. For a concept, it’s alright to lack some mechanics. You can always improve it! One thing that I must say is that I loved the hand-draw style graphics! Never give up!

I like the mechanics of fast planning to redirect the meteors and causing chain reactions without damage to the ground, is something easy to understand but very hard to do perfectly, for now I didn’t go too far score-wise this time, but I will return later to try again. I can see the potential, please keep going and good work!

A very creative take on tower defense, I mean, Food Stand Defense. The use of cooking mechanics and upgrades make the game loop feel really fun and addictive. Congrats for the good work! Keep going!

Btw, sometimes I can spend more money than I have, giving a negative number, lol! image.png

I used to like Unity, and it’s without doubt a great engine in various aspects, but Godot is taking my attention I have decided to keep improving using it. I use Godot 4.3 alpha in my entry.

Simple and fun, good job for your first jam! Keep going and never give up!

A very relaxing and unique experience! I cheated using an auto-clicker just to know if there’s an end, lol! Keep going!

Pew pew pew! Good work! Keep going!

It’s very beautiful, like a fever dream. I liked it very much! Please keep going!

Nice concept and mechanics! My only problem with the game is that I have no clue where the opponent is, but he always goes directly at me. Keep going!

I lost several times until notice that the towers need to be dragged to the map. It can be difficult, but I discovered an exploit that if you call all the waves, you automatically win the game, lol. Overall, it’s a nice tower defense entry. Congrats! Don’t give up and keep going!

Nice game, good balance of the art, music and mechanics. I notice that you can buy your already owned weapon (and waste money, lol) Congrats! Keep going!

Very creative entry and good to play, liked all the details, the “egg” splatter when they die and the models/animations are very good! The only issue I’ve had is in the fight at saloon entrance, the egg keeps shooting at the camera (maybe because I’ve been facing the camera when moving, dunno). Congrats to the team, keep going!

Awesome game! It’s tense and relaxing at the same time to avoid some bullet hell while shooting non-stop. It’s nice to see how much can be done in so little time. Good Job! Keep going!

It’s different to anything I’ve played (and it’s a good thing) I enjoyed the card game controlling the dungeon and is very fun to play. I think the battle can be improved, sometimes, with some weapons (like the thunder magic) it’s very easy, with others is very difficult. And I’ve lost several times because of the skeletons charging in the middle of nowhere, lol. Very good job! Keep perfecting the concept, it will make an awesome game when finished!

If publishing on itch.io, you can try to tick the option belowimage.png

But if you have encountered this error in other pages (like this one), it is probably a browser incompatibility or some server error.

Very nice casual game, I didn’t know about Black Peter original game, so today I learned this… It’s a mix of memory and strategy (when the memory fails) to keep solving without making many mistakes. It has a good UI for its purpose, and the simplicity without distractions in the layout is also a good thing. Good Job! Congrats!

I give it a try, my setup is using a quest 3 with virtual desktop and steam on PCVR. It worked flawless. About the game, it really a good concept, the change from the “table-top” view to first person view is a very good addition. Also very good voice acting. Please continue, good job!

It’s a very good recreation of the classic QBert. I didn’t have anyone to play with me, so I just tested it solo, thus maybe I have missed some details, but I think it’s very well-made. Congrats and keep going!

I think there’s a problem with the submission, it doesn’t load on the page properly. So I download the files that are in html5 and WebGL game and run in a simple server to test. I think it looks great, really the aesthetics of the assets is well-used. The gameplay is good, I encountered a bug that make it stop in the air when I press the jump button. Don’t give up and keep going.

It’s very simple and there’s not much to see, but if it is your first jam, it’s ok! Don’t give up and keep going!

Well, for a one evening game, it’s ok, I guess. So don’t give up and keep going.

Ideia bem massa!

It’s a good concept, the gameplay can be smoother, I mean, I never got it to do a successful melee attack without dying, in the future, you can have the character move faster to avoid those arrows, maybe with a dash attack, dunno. Edit: just now I saw the instructions and the use of the “E” key, sorry, my bad (more points to mechanics)! Good work, keep going!

Nice!

Nice idea, very creative use of the theme. I cheated a little in the hard parts just by pressing all the buttons at the rhythm (shame on me). Good job!

Glad you liked it! When creating the game, the battle was the last thing I implemented, so it can be very janky sometimes. The enemy cats use mainly the same control code as the player, and its AI just “presses the buttons” that they want. So it is based on a state machine, It can chase the player, attack, then run away (and sometimes fall while chasing or running away, lol)

I like the atmosphere the game creates even with those simple graphics. I played trying to find all the artifacts (please tell me, what the effect of the chicken?!) and keep playing even when the game says that it already have the money and go back to the dungeon. Congrats, keep the good work!

Very nice to play and very addictive! The gameplay is easy to learn and hard to perfect. Something I recommend if you plan to continue the project after the Jam is to allow the player to shoot in different directions while walking. Anyway, good Job!

Very fun to play! Nice sense of humor for the story and ending! Good job!

Ok, for starting, the right button controlling the left arm of the viewer (and vice versa) is a little counter-intuitive. I also can’t pick the box from the ground, always need to reset it to finally catch it. (But these things can be just lack of playing skills from me.) And just to be sure, do you need to drop the droplets in that space to power the PC, or it will be teleported there automatically when collected? Sorry if somehow I didn’t explain better, English is not my main language. Anyway, keep the good work!

The lamp is somewhat difficult to control (specially when the platforms are above another and its height collides) but that adds to the player’s skill. The story is funny and the insert of the theme as last lamp stand is very clever. Good job!

It’s a very unforgiving platform, the aesthetics of the sprites, music and sound effects do well together. I don’t know if there’s some ending because I got to the end of the map and nothing happens (excepts the out of map abyss, lol). Nice job, please continue!

Nice! Thanks!

Well, the game’s controls are much complicated for me, for some reason, the mouse buttons are not working as described, so I didn’t go any far as the game starts, even listening the tutorial. But I liked your use of the physics as main game mechanic like QWOP. Nice work!
