Thank you everyone for playing, rating and commenting my game! I hope you all had fun as I had! See you in the next jam!

Edit: As for the continuity of this game, I think It was a good prototype for an actual experience, but if I will continue, probably will be another game with similar mechanics and more content. But for now I like to take a good rest before working in another project. If you want, please follow me and get notified when something new arrive.

Thanks for making it, good times were had! I am making a little YouTube video about some of the games I played during the game jam which I found to be particularly compelling, and I'd like to mention this one. If that's not okay, please let me know. Such a cool game!

Nice! Go ahead and feel free to play it. If possible, please give me the link of your channel, so I can also watch. Thanks.

Cool! Working on the Gataria section right now! Going to have the first half up sometime today I'd guess, I'll share it then.

Part 1 including Gataria. Thanks again for making a cool game!

This was so fun! The platforming felt great and I loved the pixel art. Appreciate the small details like the cats you defeat hanging out at the bottom of the map and the title screen startling your cat. It was an absolute joy to play. Amazing job!

I am very bad at this game xD Ignoring that, this was amazing! The music was nice, the graphics where fantastic, the cat getting scared from the logo? Brilliant! Very good job

Awesome game!!! One of my favorites so far, I even recommended it to a friend cat lover. All very real to cats life, I loved the animations and the overall setting. Getting the cat stunned when hitting the logo is a really nice touch. The color palette is excellent as well. I would have liked more variety of attacks in different enemies,  but for a gamejam game, it is really beyond expectations. If you develop the idea further I would like to play a larger version of it!

Ah! and I loved the ending!! ...very cat-like XD

As some players have found out, there’s a glitch that sometimes a cat defeats you but then just don’t want to fight again. Well, cats sometimes can be very stubborn, so it adds to realism. (jk, I think, is some part of the battle end logic that is running out of sync)

It's not a bug, it's a feature :P

Wonderful game! I really enjoyed it from start to finish. Very cute spritework! You did a great job with the mechanics and the cat fights are a really fun and creative idea. The last cat you fight ambushed me and knocked me off and then just watched me pass by to hang out with my calico pal when I went up to fight him again. I was a little sad. Excellent music choices and sound effects, love the way they tie it all together. The jumps of faith were a little nerve-wracking at first but honestly they're a neat design choice, and the screen changes remind me of something like Pitfall. Excellent presentation overall. My only suggestion would be to maybe offer a different input button for attack on the right side of the keyboard on a key like 'J'. There were a few times where I was activating sticky keys using the buttons available on the right side. Other than that, I had a great time. Thank you for sharing!

Love the detail of the ending. Very true of cats. Great jumping and animations. Well done!

I really love the attention to detail in things like the sound (and slight animation) of jumping on the garbage can lids. Or how the enemy cats pile up in the starting area as you defeat them. Or how the game's logo causes the cat to have a jump scare. :D

Jumping around feels very good. Combat I found difficult after the first cat. The orange one gave me a ton of trouble until I discovered the key is to wait for your opponent to come to you. Having regenerating hearts as a sort of 'stamina' system is a nice touch, where it's not about how much you swipe your opponent all that matters is being the last (cat) standing. Oddly, the final cat defeated me in our battle, but when I returned they weren't interested in another round and let me pass through.

It's not always obvious where to head to next from one screen to another, but given the options are always up, left or right it's not too much of an issue. :)

I am pretty new to itch.io so I am not sure, but I believe it is because in admin page of the game the box is probably not checked for "Display as Contributor?" See if this may help you.

That was it, thank you so much!! :) :) It's fixed now, really appreciate your help!

Oh, I love this one! Crisp mechanics, good but straightforward platforming, crisp mechanics, excellent pixel art, a fun little narrative with a funny ending - well done!! :)

Very cute and well polished game. Nice job

Very nice game! A fun adorable aesthetic and people always enjoy playing as cats.

A fun mix of platforming and combat, took me a little bit to figure out that we're meant to push them off and not just reduce their hearts to zero.

Nice job :D

EXCEPTIONAL I think it's one of my favorite submissions, just immediately from the beginning how it looked and how it felt that already was really beautiful, and it just got better after that from there. Really excellent job on this game all the way!

Quite fun platformer. Love the fight sections. Loved the pixel art and small details like when you jump on the trash can the lid moves. I loved playing it.

Fun and satisfying platformer! The music, sound and visuals all tied together really well and made for a cohesive and enjoyable playthrough. Nice Job!

A great fun and funny game

Wow it's very good, love the fighting, for the last 3 fight it's easy to make the enemy suicide as you can kind of control they behavior :D The aesthetic, sound, music and mechanics are perfect, very good job for the game !

Lovely little flip-screened cat-themed action platformer. The presentation, music, and controls felt very reminiscent of later Master System games, which I love! So many nice touches like the title appearing mid-gameplay - well done!

A very pleasant moment here. The fights are quite challenging! Nice game.

Cute game, nice entry. Most platformers usually start from left to right. This one is the opposite. Just an interesting observation.
