Had a blast with this, So many lasers, so chaotic!
Your game is so beautiful!! The mechanics had micro-4X strategy feels and I like the retro vibes!
I really liked that. I love that you have sounds for almost everything, and the music is just spacey! Cool details as well.
Wow what a cool deep tower defense! Well made systems and when I found the info on the satellites I was blown away. Wish I could change or sell weapons on my planets (wanted to go all laser in the end..). Incredibly beautiful planets especially, that fact alone is why I really want to defend the main one!! Also sick musik.
If I may offer some critiques I would try to separate the main elements with the background, could be through contrast or saturation. My eyes didn't know what to focus on, it sometimes got tough to distinguish.
Thanks for a fun one!
The art in this was very beautiful, and it was a very interesting take on a tower defence style game. It seemed to have issues with running at different sizes, you may want to reconfigure your window stretch settings in your Godot project to better support different window sizes.
I’m not sure if it was intended, but I didn’t seem to be able to remove or change equipment on satellites once it was equipped, which was a little annoying. The inability to reconfigure things I felt made the game feel less engaging as you got into it, since there’s a fair bit of waiting to get a new satellite and fit it out.
With some expansion, I could definitely see me playing something like this in my free time, and it’s a very strong base to start from, good job!
Nice game, it lacks a tutorial or an explication page on how to play, but I loved the art and the overall idea!
Well I guess I do suck lol does stacking rockets on the same satellite makes them shoot faster?
haha! not gonna lie, we completely forgot to change the "Game Over" text lol
currently, stacking rockets makes a satellite shoot two rockets instead of one, but I think there may be a bug where they both occupy the same space, will look into it :) thank you for playing!
