Congrats on your submission! I like the direction you were going here. The first time I died, I thought the game had locked up. It was the second playthrough when I realized that I had died. I was kiting the mobs around and got stuck on a wall that I couldn't see, the camera I think was in the wall. It played real smooth in the browser other than that.
Nicely done! I love Mixamo!
Definite step in the right direction! Would love to see some quality-of-life features like player feedback or UI and more level design, but it's a Solid foundation to build off though! :)
It definitely lacks of some UI / user feed back (at least a health bar for player and foes). Also, the block doesn't seem to work? Maybe I didn't understand well :)
Keep on going!
thanks, I could have worked another 2 weeks on this for sure lol.
Promising game. Need to make it more clear, maybe add healthbar, some sort of progression and exploration!
Cool submission. I think it's a nice foundation to build around and add more mechanics, abilities and enemies to. It's always nice to see 3D web submissions that run smoothly as well. So kudos for that, too
Thanks, I would like to tighten the battle mechanics. Some upgrades or abilities would be good
I already posted about the below, but for the purpose of the Jam, I will repost my observations here:
I met my match and now I’m stuck running in circles while the onslaught continues - quite the spectacle, isn’t it? Despite this, I’m genuinely impressed with the polished EQ-style graphics and the arena setup. The sound effects could use some tweaking, but overall, it’s an enjoyable experience!
What caught my attention was the game launching in a window without requiring a download - a feature we had on our wishlist but couldn’t implement due to time constraints. Kudos for that! Looking forward to more from this game. Keep up the great work!
Added: I assigned a score of “2” to the storyline, primarily due to the lack of context about my character’s presence and the identity of these relentless adversaries. However, the mere setting of a coliseum-style arena did hint at a narrative, preventing me from rating it as low as “1”. I look forward to seeing the story evolve in future updates.
