How does your game match the theme?
First - ToTo can shrink to really small spaces to fit inside small cracks.
Second - Its ToTo spaceland! ToTo is visiting wierd planets. In the demo there is only one planet. And sadly because of lack of time "planet select screen" is absent - it should look like dreamland maps in kirby.

What a charming game! I think the jump + float + attack combination is very solid as a mechanic. My only complaint is the inability to tap the first jump to make it shorter.
The character designs are very cute!
The audio is a bit loud.
Great work!
Thanks for playing and feedback! :) I agree that sometimes it would be useful to just tap the jump.
Great use of colour. It is clear to me that blue objects are hazards very early on in the game. The graphics and intro animation is charming. Sound design is very Gameboy-ish, but can sometimes be too harsh for me.
The jump feels too high and 'floaty' to me. It is also difficult to know where I'm landing or plan ahead since the screen is fixed to the player, though this is also due to the screen size restriction. Like many mentioned, having the game restart when dying is a bit punishing, but it's understandable with the time constrain.
Good work on it!
Thanks for playing! :) I am happy that you have noticed my attention to use of colros! Sound - as mentioned in description - is a little bit awful because these were my first attempts to creating my own sound and music. I used LMMS emulation of real GB sound chip. But lack of knowledge where you land is the essention of gameboy games! Gargolyes Quest is one of my first real gameboy cartridges and oh boy, i hate this game. You jump into the pit where in the end there are spikes, and you need to click jump in time to be able to float for a second and stick to the wall. In here you can also jump just before spikes or enemies, just be quick.
I'm glad I took the time to download the exe. It was much smoother, and the graphics were clear. It would have been nice to have multiple lives or more hearts though!
Thanks for your time :) I agree, it would be nice to make checkpoints after every door but you know - the time has run out for me. Have a nice day!
I love the main character very cute little guy. I like how you even added a small little idle animation for the character.
Thanks for playing! I wanted this game to have as much personality as it can so even monsters have their iddle animations. I wish i managed my time better during this jam because i wanted to add kirby-like dance winning animation after you defeat boss :)
Controls felt great!
Thanks for playing :)
Fun game, I love the main character design. The art and sound really takes me back to playing old handheld games.
Thanks for playing :)
Super cute character!
Even if the camera is strictly tied to the player, it was fun to air jump over long distances. Having to start over when you die felt a bit too punishing.
Solid entry, nice presentation!
Thanks for playing ^^ I was lacking time to add some sort of lives / checkpoints. Game is reeaaally short so I decided that this is the thing that i can cut off.
you made a cute fest! :D
I like the mood! it definitely has the gameboy soul!
but there are some points:
The jump is too long for this small screen, when i jump, i lose where i want to land and i may land on those big spikes (which are a little too big!). but if i had more control on the jump this would be appropriate for the maximum height.
And the music is too short and unfortunately it doesn't loop seamlessly which breaks the mood.
all in all good job! best wishes!
Thanks :)
