Really nice music, nice concept too. I like how you can choose both the level you start in and the ship you want to play with, also like the way you can sometimes choose what to get (Shop, "???", or else). Great job!

That was cool! It's a tad slow at times, but the mechanics are fleshed out and well-considered. The elite battles are interesting!

The laser ship palette (green) is a lot harder to distinguish; the bullets blend into the background.

The audio is a bit imbalanced. The music is much louder than the sound effects.

Great work!

Sensational! Great game. Nice touch with the different ship selection. And the sound is really great (although the do-di-do got a bit on my nerves after a while :-) but the ship selection sound and boss are cool. also great idea with the different color palettes.

This is AWESOME! This is a lot of fun to play, the combat is simple and sweet enemies are fun to dodge and return shots to. I think for missiles and shields it’d be better to just have them on cooldowns rather than limited items, because if I can go without them for multiple runs there doesn’t seem to be much point other than bosses. The font used to describe the ships and upgrades also isn’t very legible, I’d consider changing it. Hoping this gets expanded on, would love to see more!

I was almost disappointed with the game until I found out about ship upgrades - that first ship was horrible! :P  The gameplay was really fun after that and felt very much like a GB/arcade game.  The upgrade system was implemented very well.  I thought it was cool that the different ships changed the color pallet (I chose the green).  I could see myself coming back to this game and sinking a bunch more time into it.  Nice job!

Thanks! If you want to play again try pressing S on the ship selection screen, there are different game modes (act 2/3/final boss/boss rush) :)

This was super fun, the gameplay felt classic and I really liked all the little decisions that gave it a sense of player autonomy that SHMUPS usually don't.

Oh and that boss fight song had me going!

Very nice the roguelike idea with the upgrades.

It's hard to realize when an alien get the last hit, because the model has the same damage blink animation.
