That's a great and original concept! I really enjoyed it. The music and art make for a perfect GB vibe. Some levels were hard for me but I still enjoyed it. Good job!
I enjoyed a lot the game actually, really fun and an original idea!!!
What a cool puzzle game. Great work!
This is pretty good! I like the unique spin on the theme. Introducing new gameplay mechanics as it progressed is nice. It does feel like a gameboy game, good job!
What a nice touch the theme and creative theme interpretation (5 stars for that) can do to a Sokoban-style game!
Thank you!
This is the type of creativity that I came for in gbjam 11!
I really like the elbowing mechanic, and the puzzles were really fun.
So was the music. It was simple, but enjoyable :)
The only minor complaint that I could even think of, is the fact that sometimes it's hard to tell who you can elbow and not. Sure, most of them are kinda just made up of yellow, but still, it was kinda confusing.
Still, very nice game, and even better that it is on an actual gameboy!
Thank you for the feedback and kind words! Maybe I should have made new sprites for the ones that don't move instead of just a palette swap, especially given the small sprite size. I'll keep that in mind.
Such a great game, it feels nice! The elbow mechanic is so creative and cute, I love the feel of this game and the challenging puzzles. Very well made!
Thank you for the feedback! I'm glad you liked it.
Really love the take on the theme as well as the soundtrack. Oddly soothing and fun game. Nicely done!
Thank you for the feedback! As I have no experience making music, I am happy just to know that it is not annoying enough to have it muted 😆
I really enjoyed this take on the theme, and well done with the subtle clarity of which "obstacle" did what. I wish there were more stages, especially since it's clear you were thinking things through for each one (and the difficulty ramped up well), but that's down to the amount of time I guess.
Love it, nicely done!
Thank you for the feedback! For this being my first puzzle game of this kind, I had a hard time making each level feel unique and challenging in the limited space of the bus (maybe a bad decision from the start). I'm glad you enjoyed it!
This is a very clever and unexpected format for a puzzle game. Oddly addicting, too. I wasn't quite able to beat it, but I might give it a few more tries!
The graphics are adequate, but could have been a bit more polished without sacrificing fidelity to the classic medium.
Thank you for the feedback! I know what you mean about the graphics, but at least for this jam I wanted to make an actual ROM for GameBoy, so I had to adjust to all the limitations. Even though, I think I could have added some little flashy effects here and there if I had more time.
Liked it! But I think level 3 is impossible to pass. Am I right?
Hi! All levels are possible 🙂
Outta my way, this is my stop!
I enjoyed the faithful graphics a lot; this really felt like a gameboy game.
Gameplay is contained, easy to learn, but you still need to think before every shove.
I liked the inclusion of different kinds of passengers, e.g. aggressive people. It really adds another level to the game.
All i could ask for is more levels!
Nice take on the theme, and a solid excecution!
Thank you for the feedback! I'm glad you liked the passengers, I wanted to do that to make it different from the classic box moving games.
