I made a mistake taking too long and hanging out in the crossing point and getting barrel'd repeatedly.
I like the SID-style lead in the bgm too!

The Theme/Setting is Outer Space
This game was a good time. The double jump was a nice addition to this game it allow me to save myself multiple times. My headcanon is that Donkey Kong is the pilot of that UFO.
That was fun! The mechanics were competently implemented, and the art is pretty cool.
The audio is a bit imbalanced. The "jump-over score increase" sound peaks at -0.0 dB.
The resolution appears to be too large.

Movement is nice, just the right amount of difficulty, you can't go wrong with a classic :>
Ah, the spirit of Donkey Kong lives!!! I loved double-jumping over the obstacles. That felt so satisfying.
The first several rounds were very hard, but I persevered until I managed to beat it.
Note that the game crashed on me a few times, mostly after I got hit (but this didn't happen every time I got hit).
The primary gameplay loop is solid, but the game could have benefited from more levels, as well as collectibles or other secondary goals.
I was expecting to find donkey kong at the top of the stage! haha good job
Music was somewhat repetitive, gameplay was slightly glitchy regarding collision with the barrels. Not a bad game, a enjoyed the sound effects and getting points, it seemed strange that when you win you don't get any points for it, but it was fun overall.
Addicting game! The description says arrow keys should work for movement, but they didn't for me in either the web or Windows build. Main thing I'd like to see is a better scoring system, maybe one that rewards faster progression as opposed to the amount of barrels you jumped over. As it is right now, the goal of getting to the end and the goal of scoring points seem a bit at odds with each other.
