How does your game match the theme?
It takes place in outer space and there are space whales in space but also the motel is like a liminal space so it's like a double meaning we are very clever

Thank you all for the feedback on the music I wrote. The original soundtrack is now available on my itch.io and SoundCloud!

I'm impressed with some games with a good amount of content made in one week! Good job and the game seems polished, without bugs

Beautiful music, it made this short little adventure even better. Loved the ending!

Developer

You're too kind

Very gameboy-like. I enjoyed the short play-through. The music in the ending scene is heart warming.

Developer

Appreciate it. I love that ending theme too, one of my favorite songs I've written in a long long time.

I got the "Click, there's a key in here" dialogue even before picking anything up, yet I couldn't open the exit door. Picking up the crowbar didn't seem to fix this, but maybe I'm missing something

Developer

The crowbar opens up the drawer in the front which you need to get the key to go out the front door.

Hey, fantastic job here! You guys should be proud of what you made here. The game was rather short and really lacked in gameplay, but the simple story along with the music and visuals more then makes up for that! The music reminded me alot of the Mother series, and the art style was very pokemon, at least in the sprites. The hotel felt like real space, so your artist has a really good understanding of level design and making tilesets.

Anyways, like I said! Fantastic Job! Hope to see more from you guys in the future!

Developer

Appreciate the feedback! First time I've been compared to the Mother soundtrack. Nat killed it with the art, so many atmospheric vibes I didn't think we'd nail with four colors very easily.

great art, banger music, phat space whales

Love the art in this game, wow! And the coding is very smooth, I appreciated the gameboy screen transitions complete with the white flash - a nice touch! Fantastic work

I don't see any game here.  Do you have it released to the public?

Developer(+1)

sorry, we left it as restricted; should be public now!

Does it work for you?  I get this error.  I've played other HTML games just fine.
"script.js:144 Uncaught (in promise) DOMException: Failed to read the 'localStorage' property from 'Window': Access is denied for this document.

at go (https://v6p9d9t4.ssl.hwcdn.net/html/8757883/web/js/script.js:144:44)"

I also tried your other game "Pegue a Batata" and it played for me.  I like that one.  :)

Ok, I figured out the issue.  I was blocking 3rd party cookies, so I opened a new incognito, and allowed the 3rd party cookies and the game ran.
