I kept thinking floors were walls for some reason, especially when the floor was different around the edge of a room. Kept throwing me for a loop.
I'm not a fan of the tank controls in a top-down environment, either.
The soundscaping was on-point, and the art was competent. The limited light and dynamic shadows were a nice touch. In all, a solid entry.

You used your canvas size incredibly well, I enjoyed the incredibly low-res character but the expressive portrait

The injury and death animations were very well done. This was also one of the more well implemented gameboy like experiences, so it hit that nostalgia portion quite well. The darkness kind of reminded me of playing GB on a road trip when the light was fading, had to squint to see where I was going. Great job!

Very cool entry! The movement is a bit weird tho but everything else nails the spooky vibes really well! The art is charming and very gameboy-esque, music fits very well and the gameplay excels at being simple but passing that anxiety in this type of games. Great job!

The level was a bit too dark and hard to read. At some point I ended up in a completely black area with no visible way to return and got stuck. The choice for control scheme is also a bit odd and adds an unnecessary level of difficulty in my opinion The music is excellent though and the idea of the game is on point with the secondary theme. Well done!

I really enjoyed this! Pretty damn creepy, aided greatly by the atmospheric lighting. Top job!

This is pretty cool! I love games that play with lighting like this.
Took a bit to figure out kinda what's going on and I still feel lost a bit but this is nifty!
The sounds and animations are really nice

The controls took a bit to get used to, but once I got the hang of them it was fine. The graphics were cute and I enjoyed the sounds of picking up items.
