With some work, this can become a great game!
My suggestion is to have 2 phases. During the day you prepare, upgrade and charge your buildings. During the night you attack with the creeps, gaining coins for upgrades. Give the player a health stat and an attack for the knight.
You have a great base, so adding upon what you have will improve it dramatically! Good job nonetheless!
