It's a tiny game, but there's some good stuff in here.

I like the main character's walk cycle, and find most of the assets are very clean and readable. Going for simplicity rather than noise and clutter really worked in your favor here.

The fact that there's not a lot of mechanics implemented actually enhanced the spooky atmosphere a bit for me at the start, so I'd suggest you build on that. For instance, finding a battery or realizing you can hide in lockers far before any of those mechanics are actually useful made me wonder whether I should be memorizing where lockers are for when I need to run back to them, or consider if filling up my item slots was wise, or whether I oughta leave room in case I need to pick something up and then make a run for it.

There's clearly a lot left to add until you have a complete core loop, but I feel like this is a promising start. Keep it up!

I was able to get four batteries and a holy looking object. I did see the other thing floating outside the map... a bit spooky! the music volume would be my main feedback. I think the second track was a bit loud compared to the first, another kind of spooky :) thank you for building and submitting!

Thanks for the feedback! If you'd like to try an updated version, I am releasing one soon ;)

I've used pygame a few times before, so starting the game wasn't so hard. When I started the game and heard no audio I just assumed it wasn't added, but when I walked further down and the music started I got really spooked for a second. Unfortunately when the monster did appear, it got caught on a locker and couldn't chase me. There are item pickups, but they feel super pointless, unless the monster is supposed to run into them to get stunned or something, but I wasn't able to test that. I got a bit disappointed when I finished the game and it was just a (Spoilers ahead:) arrow in the ground pointing to a clippable wall to the exit. I think you did the best on the secondary theme and the art style was mostly pleasing to the eye.  Overall, not too bad. Also if you want to make it easier for people to open your game I would recommend compiling it with either the PyInstaller or Nuitka library.

Thank you for the feedback, unfortunately I did not have the time (and skill) to implement item mechanics or enemy’s very well. The ending also will be updated in the future.

I clicked because of the title, it’s hilarious! But I can’t get it to run, sorry :\ I haven’t used PyGame in a long time so that’s probably the issue. I hope others can get it working so you get some ratings!
