Did you use any third-party assets or skeleton code?
I used a track from SuloSounds 100 pack (field-stars-ambient-loop), two lospec color palettes (coldfire-gb and autumnglow), and I built the game in my godot monorepo/addons repository, open source here: https://github.com/russmatney/dino

I can't beleive a "reamke" of the old snake game is so fun. The layout and colors are a bit confusing but other than that great game!

Nice game but the objectives take way too much place I think haha but it was juicy.

Juice - check. :-)

The play area is too small (referring to the 5x5, not the default zoom (which is also too small)). Starting big would have been good, and shrinking the area as a level progression, could have been good.

Too much meaningless color, with a bigger area maybe color-meaning would have occurred or maybe this was just a "too much 'juice'" for the space? It sounds like some of that color was enemy snakes(?), then instead of full square bodies, maybe the snakes could be colored circles on the background squares. Instead I got "juiced" (iow, zip, bam, pow color stuff, ???)

Looks like you had lots of good ideas!!! Just too small a board...

This was really juicy! So juicy in fact I didn't really understand what I was doing to the other snakes on screen

But I won, so yay :3

I always love a snake clone! Having the view zoomed in at the start would help. Hard to see the snake sometimes, but it was fun.

At first I forgot about mouse scroll to zoom in.  I played quite a long time with the grid about the size of a large coin on screen.  The ambient music really sets a nice mood.  the graphics and concept are very nice.  Would have been very challenging with trapping yourself mechanic.

Nice submission.  Great start to a longer game.

Juicy indeed!!!

But maybe there is too much juice some time because I couldn't understand exactly what happened on some occasions. Also it would be nice if the objectives weren't displayed on the grid you're playing haha

Also, is there a reason the game starts zoomed out that much? x)

It was short but fun :p

Really cool visuals & sound! Very Juicy

Nice, juicy visuals but it was hard for me to figure out how to play since so much was happening in a small space. Plus I don't understand why it was so zoomed out.

Thanks for playing! Yeah, it鈥檚 a bit too chaotic. Sorry about the default zoom - you can zoom in/out with the scroll wheel or up/down arrow keys.
