I like the aesthetic! The gameplay however, just did not compute for me initially. Without the game page, I wouldn't have known that
1. I can click on enemies to damage them (because that's not that typical for a tower defense game)
2. That A/D moves the camera. Without some sort of environmental reference I thought I was moving the tower and the other game objects with it lmao
So some sort of quick tutorial for non-trivial controls would be very appreciated, and rn the gameplay is very slow (especially with the long pauses between waves) but it's a neat little thing!
a fun little tower defense game, simple graphics are lovely and the sound effects are nice, but a lil too slow for my liking sadly
also, the particles spawn on top of the enemies which makes it less juicy than it couldve been :(
Very nicely done. The simple graphics work well and makes the special effects pop. A bit slow for me, but this is the beginning of a fun tower defense.
The art style and music are cool, and I think there's a cool concept. There's definitely some stuff to improve in terms of execution. As others mentioned, the waiting between waves seems unnecessary and is kind of boring. It takes a long time to get your second tower, and even then the towers seem fairly useless compared to clicking. Also, it seems like the main sound effects are clipping. I think if you put some more work into this it could be something pretty cool. Cheers
Good style and and atmosphere. Just feel like it takes way too long to get going. :^)
I think the game has some potential to be really cool with a bit more content (tower upgrades, more ennemies?). The simplistic black and white art style works well with the background music also.
The waiting time between the waves is a maybe bit unnecessary, as you don't have anything to do during this time.
I think you can have a lof of fun elaborating on this ! :)
I liked the simplistic art style of the game.
I would recommend tuning down the time between waves, felt that I was waiting for a long time to get started on the next round.
Fun game to mess around with!
I like the style, good work!
