Something's not quite right about those rabbits. I don't think they're from around here. Difficult but interesting!
Thanks! Something's definitely not right with those rabbits!
Silly rabbits kept eating my progress. LOL. Fun submission.
Progress has never tasted so good!
LOL
Damn wabbits! they ate all of my tower! Very nice stacking game with a twist! Well done!
Thanks Elmer Fudd lol
A very confusing but nice game. Its kind of pretty hard with the rabbits or whatever but I love the game. Rate mine if you have the opportunity.
I'll check it out!
i dont get the idea of the game
You commented the same comment twice (I'm assuming it was from that itch glitch that still posts your comment when you click the button even though an unsaved changes pop-up prevents the page from reloading with the comment visually posted)
I replied to the first copy of this comment with the idea of this game
i dont get the idea of the game
You have to try to build up the tallest pyramid you can using the triangular TriCarrots (click/tap and hold to spawn them in, stack them up in a Triforce-like pattern like the pyramids in the screenshots) while defending it from ravenous enemies (read the FRIABBIT TYPES section of the game page's description for more info on each enemy, also read everything above that section for more info on the game and its controls).
That was pretty hard, but as I played some hard game, it was really fun, well done! can you please play my game to get feedback!
Thanks! Happy you enjoyed it! As this is a score attack game, the difficulty was inspired by old arcade games!
Okay I'll check out your game :D
Extremely hard for me. I spent more time clicking on enemies than actually placing stuff. It is fun, though and would probably be more fun on mobile (I'm on my laptop). I would suggest an easy mode or a kid mode as an addition that can help people learn it before getting hardcore.
Yeah that could help, but then I would've needed two separate leaderboards (also even though you can kill multiple enemies while on mobile, the PC version allows you to right-click which has its own uses, I also play the majority of this game on my laptop too). A tip for both versions involves allowing a regular enemy to begin eating a TriCarrot (that's preferably not apart of your pyramid) and spam clicking them (as enemies that eat lose their after-hit invincibility frames while eating! If you're fast enough you can even do it before they get a single bite out of your TriCarrot!)
Enjoyed playing ! :D
i found it a lil hard :o too many enemies to kill D:
overall, well made !
Thank you! You can try playing on mobile if the enemies overwhelm you too easily!
Original graphics, if you like Tetris this is a must try for this jam.
Interesting that you compare this to Tetris, cause even though both games are similar in a lot of ways, both seemingly have opposite goals!
Good game. Claps for designing the music yourself too!
The enemies overwhelm me everytime and found this to be a bit tough.
Funny story with the music, it was the first song I exclusively composed during different subway commutes via headphones lol
Try playing on mobile to see if you can deal with the enemies any faster!
The gameplay is simple but challenging and the monsters' design is great, good work!
Thanks! We're proud of how those parts ended up as in the final game
Simply, funny creative, good job!
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed :D
Cool game! I don't know how you got everything so organized in the screenshots. My towers did not look that great. I was confused about what the cookies and plants that sometimes showed up when clicking the mouse did. I am not sure if I was missing something here, but I didn't see them explained anywhere. This game really made me want to submit my score to the leaderboard to see what kind of scores other people were getting. Great art style too!
Thanks! I got so organized with a strategy where I build up walls/piles of TriCarrots on each side of my tower (which you can even see in certain screenshots) to slow enemies, giving me more time to be super careful with my placements on my main tower (and moving the walls/piles out as my tower grows).
Maybe I should've went more in-depth on what each curse did. The curse where you get the "cookies" (potatoes lol) and other plants are from the "veggie roulette" curse from a Lagic (the stationary top hat enemies you want to kill quickly to get rid of their many curses), this curse tries to mess up your placements by cycling between different misshaped, 1HP vegetables, making you have to time each TriCarrot placement!
The game artwork look amazing the sound is good but I am a little slow and I need a tutorial other that that good job
I thought the gameplay and concept wasn't too complicated in need of a tutorial (besides the instructions). Maybe at least a help menu that's more visual and inside the game would've worked better next time?
Begone, you alien rabbit freaks! Stay off of my carrot tower!
Anyways, I had a good time playing this game. The art and the animation were the best parts about this game.
Thanks! The art and animation was all thanks to my awesome teammate!
Hahaha, these annoying rabbits
Indeed!
Wow, this game is hard! Good job!
Yup, even for me :D I find myself frequently getting close to the screen to judge my specific dropping location(s)!
That was interesting! It's a very stylish take on physics stacking.
The character designs are great! They're freaky and cute.
Good work!
Thank you! The original concept design for the regular enemies was from a random drawing session, where I drew a bunch of ideas for random characters. I went back to it because I remembered the idea for these eye and mouth eared bunnies that would fit super well for this game (with the variants being made during the jam, and all their final looks by my teammate!) Roottow on the other hand was conceptualized as an in-world explanation for the player's mouse, the source of the TriCarrots, and a more visual way to show that the player is cursed/uncursed!
Really fun to play! It's challenging but at the same time makes you want to keep playing.
Love the art style and the designs.
Thanks! That was the goal, to make you always want to build and rebuild higher, since the pyramids are super unstable and there isn't an actual game over screen after all!
