Nice game! I thought it was a pretty fun platformer! My main complaint is that I wish you didn't have to start back at the first level when you died. The colors you used were kind of intense. I liked the enemy sprites but the main character was kind of freaky haha. The wall jumping felt a little buggy. Got me with the fake door! that was a awesome moment. I couldn't figure out how to beat that level tho. I think it was level 6. Keep it up!

Good platformer character controller and level design. It's a great first game !
This was a good first game! Controls were nice and tight and I always felt in control of the character. Like other commenters are saying, dying sending you back to the title was a bit harsh since some levels probably necessitate learning their layout (like that there's a ghost at the start of level two, or that the platform on three rapidly accelerates). Still, it was fun enough that I replayed it from the start more than a couple times to see how far I could go. Good job!
Nice game, the visuals are a little basic, but honestly I shouldn't be complaining when the main character of my game is a square with eyes. The gameplay is also pretty fun, I liked your implementation of the theme.
Congrats on making your first game on itch.io! The game was very hard since one death sends the player back to the title screen, but I still had an all right time playing it.
I suck at platformers so I didn't get far at all but its still really cool!
The location where the enemy appeared in the second level was too close to the player's initial position. He lost before he could react.
