Wow got the core of a real farm simulator here, you got a lot done for two days. I can just see all the variables you would need. And nice song where did you get it? Be great to see this overlayed with some real artwork.
Really happy you noticed that as that was my goal, just trying to mine out the core of a farm sim game.. 2 days wasn't enough time and especially solo but I am happy and it will be polished and hashed out further. There were so many variables lol song was from a copyright and royalty free site in the description. I wish I had an artist for it!
That was fun! Basic, but quite competent. The theme and story are funny, too. As Recette said, "Capitalism ho!"
While I did start paying more attention after a bit, it would've been nice if there was a short-term "price change history", or at least a small indicator of the price change after a month passes.
The music is a bit loud. It hovers around -9 LUFS and peaks above +0.0 dB (The peaks clipping like that is actually a bit strange, given that it's the only audio playing). Since there aren't sound effects, you only need to turn down the audio a little bit to avoid audio clipping above +0.0 dB; although, personally, I would make it a bit quieter than that.

Such a great idea and implementation of the theme (unstable prices, weather conditions etc)! Managed to get a day with onions selling for -.50 cents and arbitraged myself into infinite wealth haha. I know you said you only had two days, so probably a lot of refinements had to be left on the cutting room floor, but with just a bit of UI and quality of life additions this could be a FANTASTIC casual game. A graph showing the price changes of each crop and upgrades/items a la cookie clicker, for instance. Still, even with the limited development time, great entry! (Although, curse you for destroying all my crops via storm).
I thought I had added a fix to prevent infinite money glitching but I found that to be a pretty funny bug honestly lol UI needs tons of improvement and I don't really consider myself graphically inclined so I try to just wing it! I'd love to make it more in-depth financially and with core farming / farm mechanics. I appreciate the feedback a ton! The storms gave me trust issues for planting lol

I wish there was a 'Buy all' and 'sell all' buttons otherwise the player needs to click a lot.

I enjoyed the gameplay, but I found that it became boring without a goal. One bug that I noticed was that crops can have a negative price.
I struggled with implementing a minimum price for crops, for some reason they can go negative and it breaks the game lol as far as goals for 2 days I didn't have enough time to implement stuff like rent, or farm upgrades, milk & dairy cows. I will be working on this and making this into a full- on game though! Thanks for the feedback!

It's a great idea and if it were refined it could be a very good economic strategic simulation. If you intend to work on the game, I advise you to add graphs or something similar to make it easier to monitor price fluctuations. For something made in two days, it is very good.
That's a good idea actually, would help track prices and fluctuations, Ideally I will be improving this and making it into hopefully a full-fledged econ simulator with farming mechanics. Thank you very much!

Really fun and cool interpretation of the theme! i kept playing for 12 years until i realized the game doesn't end !
Sorry to read you had only two days to do it, but the idea is interesting and the unstable weather in addition to the fluctuations of the market and the unexpected events makes it deeper than I thought at first. I haven't found a use for the milk and the beef though, I missed something or you didn't have time to develop it further? Anyway, good work!
The music and atmosphere of the game are great.
There are some problems:
1. I have hundreds of onions and can only sell 1 at a time. I want to order hundreds of times.
2. My cash actually went down when I sold the onions.
In the description I notified you can hold left-ctrl to buy / sell 10 or 100 at time, sorry for not including that bit of info in the game and thank you for the comment and rating!
