Great Game.  one issue:  the tutorial had no way out, that I could see. So, you just ran out of targets and music then had to refresh page to restart, if you are past the message.  Did not find a reason for the change in ammo but I didn't last long.

Really solid work. Game controlls well and needing to click the mouse to change instead of having it follow the cursor is an interesting idea. And how wild everything got when you split the ships made me laugh. Personally it'd have been nice to have different options for separating the ships it's hard to right click on this touchpad, but with a regular mouse I'm sure it'd have worked better.

Awesome game! Checked all the boxes, music, art, theme! Showed the true potencial of Gdevelop with this entry... Inspiring! Congrats

nice gameplay wonderful

I'm just astonished something this good is in the jam, this was wonderful, even tho I never used the separation mechanic as it was too risky or even bad at some point, in general I could say that the keys used to control the ship aren't the best, it would be optimal to shoot with your mouse and dash with spacebar instead, at least for me :)

Developer(+1)

I do plan to change the controls in the near future, glad you like it!

Great entry! Solid gameplay, I wish you didn't have to keep the left mouse button pressed. I love the art style, reminds me of Evangelion for some reason.

Greate piece of work, the menu, colors, graphics, LOGO and animations, music, great, so I'm gonna give feedback accordingly :)
1. oh if you use mouse already, make shooting with mouse not space! :)
2. mouseright-click has issues on web (I had the same problem with using Tab) (that could use spacebar )
3. Splitting seems too risky and uncontrollable to be practical, most users probably will use it very very rarely if at all. Some automatization or control over halves would be great.
4. Mouse cursor is invisible in this mess, it would be nice to make it stand out clearly. this is quite hard to achieve in these types of games, but would skyrocket the gameplay
5. Health cannot be numbers in action game, it has to be visual  with clear color and shape so player can instinctively at once understand without thinking how much life is left, there is no time to stop an count your health points.
6. I have some weird lagging in LibreWolf Browser. Probably due to some effect being little too heavy.

Other than that its amazing game in general and three times more polished than what I managed to make :) Congratulations :)

This is obviously one of the best game in this jam. However, the "separation" theme was not used well. It's like making a great game and just put the separation theme afterwards, even if it doesn't have a straight impact to the game.

Overall, probably one of the best, if not the best game in this jam.

Graphics, sound, and gameplay all currently mesh pretty much perfectly. In combination with the gameplay makes it feel pretty addicting.

Only complaints I have:

Hit sparks from your projectiles are a little large and overbearing.

Aiming could probably have been based purely on the mouse cursors location instead of constant clicking.

The blu-ish enemy projectiles can kind of blend in with the madness, makings reading some patterns harder.

I feel the game is a little too zoomed in on the player.

But if this game got more content overall, and some more mechanical depth. This is something I could easily see people paying for.

FULL OF JUICY ! GREAT

WELL DONED ART ! VERY NICE : )

Fast paced bullet hell shooter technically perfectly made.  The only thing that I would like to see is the autofire function, because I keep space pressed all the time, so it's a bit problematic when I need to press shift for dash.

I really enjoyed the game, and it was very juicy. Personally, I feel like it could make a good roguelike, with more weapons and upgrade.

Developer

I do plan to add upgrades in the future, glad you liked it

Great graphics and sound.

The controls make it too difficult to play. And because there's no ammo an option to keep firing constantly would be good.

I have only one complaint: we have to click to aim when the ship is united. Using the same approach to the separated aim and using the left click to dash or change weapon could improve the playability, letting all moving keys for one hand and attack/special for the other

The graphics are really good

Really nice and fun to play.
