Not exactly what I was anticipating but funny and a good environment nonetheless!
TY for Playing :)
Super funny game concept with very fitting music!
Thanks 4 Playing
Fun game with a lot of improvements from the last round.
TY for playing & noticing the improvements.
I really like this GDKO format and splitting development time up in different game jams and allowing me to improve on my previous entry.
--Usually, projects are forgotten a few days after release. lol
Yeah it's a good format for that.
Really made me laugh. Funny/10
:) TY - Glad it made ya laugh.
Somehow I wish the scoring made less sense, like you could add dividing and subtracting in for really arbitrary reasons, start a drift combo, etc. There's so much chaos already here and yet so much space for more. Great work.
Dude I love the Idea of "Drift Combos" & "Arbitrary Scoring"!!! It'll add more "Chaos" and nonsensicalness to the game! If I make it to Round 3 and the Judging Criteria permits, I'll be sure add it in. :D TYVM 4 PLAYING!
Some nice updates to this one. I particularly like the movie quotes used throughout. The scoring didn't quite make sense. And it felt MUCH easier with the timer reset (good or bad could be debated). Focusing on audio, though, there were some good additions. Nice job!
TY for the feedback :) I just wanted the "Scoring" in the UI to feel good. I wanted the Numbers to be high enough to feel rewarding, but not so high that they seemed to arbitrary or so big they felt meaningless and hard to keep track of. TY for the encouraging and kind words. :) ~ Hope its enough to get me to Round 3.
I'm probably going to be the only person to say this but I actually prefer the first version for the gameplay as I felt it had a more fun challenge to it but the sounds which is more important for this round I really like in this Boxing Day version. The characters say some funny lines and really glad you kept the welcome to Costco intro
Glad to hear you had a preference!! TYVM FOR PLAYING :D - I tryed keeping "level challenge" in mind but focused on "Level Pacing" so the audio lined up and there wasnt to much time between jokes. Happy to know the Jokes Landed! TY ~Cheers
Fun little game. I really like the new sound effects, they are fun to listen to while you are going through the store, and the controls felt really nice.
TY for letting me know the "controls" felt ok. :D - I was worried because the movement was so unconventional. There arent that many sound effects, so I try to make the most of the few I used. TYVM for the feedback and Playing :)
The game feels a lot better from round 1, small changes like UI, arrow pointing to the next gift, and zoomed out a bit more, really made the difference. The audio had me laughing. Love the Idiocracy reference.
TY for Playing & the seedback. Im so happy the UI changes where appreciated, they really need cleaned up following round 1. I Love Idiocracy and happy to know the jokes landed with you.
