I managed to save four animals on hard mode and made it to the elephant! I'm not sure if the leaderboard updated the new score but this game is excellent and I love everything about it

Developer(+1)

The leaderboard is a little buggy tbh, but I see you're on there with a score of 4. Sounds like you should have a score of 12 though, right? I can update that manually if you like. At the moment, there's no way to manage the leaderboard automatically, so I have to update a lot of entries by hand. If you try it now, you'll see your score with the updated amount!

Fun game again, hope to see you in round 3 :)

All I know is that if I manage to qualify, you for sure have qualified bro. GL HF

It always amazes me how other people are able to churn out almost a complete game in a couple of weeks! The art style was gorgeous, great sound. Loved the little backstory at the start with the accompanying visuals. Master Splinter would be proud.

Developer

"almost complete" is the highest praise I think I've gotten lol. Thanks for the kind words, especially about the art. I thought that was my weakest point, so it's encouraging to hear that.

"Almost complete" wasn't a backhanded compliment FYI, I genuinely think it's really impressive how much content you managed to get into it in such small space of time. I managed a minute and a half of gameplay and a 3 hour introduction haha

Developer

Sorry, text is hard to gauge, but I took that as a legitimate compliment. Thanks for your kindness!

This is so cool! You made such good progress since last time I played this! I'm so impressed! :D

I also love the story (I used to love to watch the tmnt 2003 tv-series :P, soo good reference there)

Well done dude <3

Developer

You can actually thank Xandarwood for that. We had a conversation late one night that made me add that since I was making a turtle anyway. I'm so glad you enjoyed, and thanks again for playtesting.

I want to echo MessMess comment. I played on easy and still couldn’t get Donatello over to the finish line. Maybe include a “very easy” for next round!

Developer

I'll take a look at that. Was it just the first level that is tricky?

Submitted(+1)

Yes :| After the second cannon, there is one that shoots dead on and if I cover from the front it will get hit from the back. I bet it’s doable, but still very challenging.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback. I'll be sure to do more playtesting in the future.

I loved this game!

The graphics were great as was the music and sound effects.

I especially loved that you included difficulty levels (easy was hard enough for me, but satisfying when I beat multiple levels on it).  I did notice one small bug: Donatello, died the first two times, but then survived the third, yet at the end it said I had saved him 0 times.  Not a big deal - I just wanted you to know.

The story at the beginning was awesome - I just wish it was more integrated into the game and kept moving forward with the fun gameplay.

Overall, excellent!

Thanks for the feedback! I'll take a closer look at that bug. Thanks for letting me know!
