Damn, out here trying to make a grown man cry. Perfect entry for the story round. Well done!

I don't know if it's just the cel-shaded art style, but this game reminds me of Wind Waker. Lovely vibe. Cinematics are top notch and just an all round fun game. You did a great job telling the story.

Love me a boomer shooter. I think you've got a recipe for something really cool here, it just needs a killer soundtrack and fleshing out a little more. You nailed the DOOM visuals and feel of the game. I thought the rat tunnels mechanic was really fun, clever way to fit the task into your game. I had fun. Well done man!

That really was the inspiration for this game. I was watching a video on House of the Dead 2's terrible voice over acting and I remembered how much fun I had playing these in the arcade as a kid. Glad you got to tap into that as well. I am thinking of continuing with this project, so you never know :) Thanks for playing!

I'm glad I tapped into that nostalgia for you, I really had a lot of fun making this even though I know it is far from perfect. Thank you for taking the time to play my game and for the feedback!

Appreciate the feedback. That opening crawl does definitely need shortening and the fast forward button is a great idea. I had plans to really go to town with the PSX shaders.  Like so many things, I just ran out of time. Thanks for playing my dude!

"Almost complete" wasn't a backhanded compliment FYI, I genuinely think it's really impressive how much content you managed to get into it in such small space of time. I managed a minute and a half of gameplay and a 3 hour introduction haha

It felt like a GBC game from back in the day. I'm not overly great at games like this but can see how you could get addicted to the game loop very quickly. Sound was awesome. Didn't encounter any bugs and the story was clear from the outset. I liked how you killed two crows (sorry) with one stone with regards to this rounds task, combining both the projectile and animal into one. Cool game. Well done!

My guys out here making a game with AAA graphics for this game jam. Fighting mechanics really solid (sword and bow), the platforming felt nice as well. I had to really pay attention to the subtitles with the lack of sound but I can understand and see where most of your time went whilst making this submission. Honestly feels like if you fleshed it out you could have something truly special on your hands here. Keep going! I want to see where you take this in the later rounds.

Got to be up there with the best games of this jam. Great job with the atmosphere and overall story. Shooting mechanics felt crisp and you the way interpreted this rounds task was very clever (animal crucial to gameplay). Fantastic job!

This game is awesome and I've just spent the last 30 minutes trying to beat it but I had to give up before I throw my keyboard at the screen. Loved the NES style graphics and animations and as a whole this makes for a really fun experience. The level design was great. My one and only criticism of this game is the damn control scheme (I'm not a PC gamer, I normally play with controller so this is probably part of the problem). Other than that, which is probably a skill issue, this game was 5*. Oh and that chiptune in the background is absolutely funky as hell and I'm all for it. Awesome job dude!

I thought you did a really good job of showing and not telling the story. Organic bad, Robot good. The visuals were so crisp! Nice little backing track as well. After getting my ass handed to me by our robot friends I decided to sprint my way through the level, and saved the princess in record time. Great job, this looked amazing.

Very cool. Really impressed with how this game was put together. Everything is very cleaned and polished. It's another game in this jam where I'm left scratching my head wondering how people manage to achieve this much in such a short space of time. The gameplay was very challenging. The only criticism I really have is the post-it note at the start. It could have been my eyes but I could barely make out the "." in "Steven.Stark"! Doesn't effect my rating though. Great job!

It always amazes me how other people are able to churn out almost a complete game in a couple of weeks! The art style was gorgeous, great sound. Loved the little backstory at the start with the accompanying visuals. Master Splinter would be proud.

I really suck at drawing. And dunking my scrunched up failed portraits into the waste bin :( I had fun playing this game though. You followed the task well. Good work!

Pretty sweet. I like how you switched things up from the round 1 entry because I remember really enjoying that one too! Keep going!

I only managed 13. Loved the creepy plot twist and the rewind shot ability was cool. A couple audio bugs but other than a fun game. Nice work!

Dr Andros approves this message.

Yeah it does go on far too long, you're right. I wanted to hammer down that it was a story round and I had to make up for such a short level somehow haha. Glad you enjoyed it!

I'm fully upvoting you in the hopes of you feeding my gambling addiction in round 2. Please give us a roulette table!

I think probably I'm just too dumb to play this type of game. I managed to get some doors open but through sheer luck of randomly pressing keys to get the right code. No idea how you would work them out haha. All the same pretty cool, and I'd like to have another go at some point.

This is a little hidden gem. Really clever idea with the mechanics and kept me entertained till I escaped with my little friends in the spaceship. Mechanics were good. Cool game!

I did it in a pretty slow time but can definitely see the potential in the mechanics. All works nicely and is fun. Nice job!

Awesome!

Can't really find much to fault with this. Really solid and good fun!

Really like the "shooting for traversal mechanic". It was kinda hard to get to grips with but once you get it down it's fun. Good work!

Great job! I even had a go on the speedrun mode and managed a time of around 3 minutes. Really solid entry.

I think this game really has some potential and was pretty addictive. It's more complex than you realise at first and enjoyed it alot. Well done!

Glad you enjoyed it. Yeah that's how I felt about the boosters as a secondary mechanic, they are there to give the player a helping hand. I think without them it really would be too frustrating!

Fun prototype. Was really well polished and was a very chilled experience. Great job!

Loved the vibe of the game. The artwork and sound design was awesome. Couldn't really figure out the best strategy for filling up the propaganda meter though. All the same an interesting prototype. Well done!

I really loved this. It felt badass seeing the cameras switch between the enemies and that train. Great take on a tower defence game. Hope you make it through to the next round, I feel like this game really has some potential. Good job!

There was something extremely satisfying about smashing those bricks up. Felt like I was in a rage room. You should add some bombs into the mix. Cool prototype :)

The shooting really felt awesome and the player movement was really clean. Graphically looked awesome as well, all the fire effects were wicked. Really enjoyable and looking forward to seeing where you take this in the next round (assuming you continue with this idea)

I was cooking up a storm! If only winning hands of poker was this simple in real life -  I'd be rich :(

A little scary to begin with but once I'd calmed down and read the instructions I was bankrolling. Could benefit from a tutorial playthrough but time was obviously a factor in that. Great game.

Probably my favourite game I've played so far. It was challenging, but in a way that you want to master it. Mechanics really well implemented.  My cup of tea.

Your anger makes you even more powerful... I do get a small kick out of the idea that people are getting enraged by the little droid. Thanks for playing :)

That is a bit of a troll elevator :) There was alot I wanted to get into the game that I couldn't due to the time limit. Hopefully I make it through to the next round. Thanks for playing!

The idea for the game was a 2D version of Only Up. I wanted it to feel a little frustrating at first, and there is a bit of a learning curve. Once you get to grips with the movement it does start to feel a lot better. At least it does for me. Thanks for playing my game :)

Loved the art-style and music. Very tricky to get through the levels but the concept for the mechanics are really cool. Well done!
