The only game I played during this jam, or in any jam... or anytime, ever, where I can say I seduced a dragon. Hilarious.
Enjoyed this a lot! Just would have liked to have seen more indication of what the dragon is thinking, and whether or not I'm about to get eaten.
Pretty cool idea, and the art/sound are great. It would be super nice to have some visual indicator (like swarms of emojis coming from the dragon after you say something and gauges that show you how you're doing).
Also, it would be pretty cool if there were further actions you could take, such as emotes or giving gifts that could also elicit reactions from the dragon.
It was a pretty unique experience deciding between potentially offending the dragon or seducing it haha. I would've liked to see some sort of feedback in the game or some sort of hint that potentially let me know how I was doing.
Thanks for your kind words! We intended for the dragon to exhibit different animations depending on its mood and an overall "Danger Meter" indicating how you were performing, but time constraints forced us to leave it out. Definitely something we're looking to include in the future!
Had charm to it, and some fun dialogue. Had no idea how well I was doing, and the way i ended up dieing seemed pretty random. Overall enjoyable, but not really unique. It's just a text tree game, not a jrpg, so not really on theme for the jam. I don't want to be too negative though, I did enjoy it! 3/5.
Awesome!!! The 3D art and animation is super cool! The chat system was very fun, but there were a lot of grammar issues throughout. Additionally, a meter or gauge to determine how I was doing versus the dragon would've been great. I still had an absolute blast! All the art and sounds really immersed me :) I do have to ask, how did you make the dragon-talk sound when he is speaking?
Thanks! The team was really happy to read your response!
The voice uses the same trick as Undertale; play a short sound every time a letter is written on the screen. We might even add different tones of voice depending on the dragon's mood in the future!
Good to know!
is it possible to win? I was trying to be as boring as possible and I ended up with a black screen, some letters in the top-right corner, and some jammin' choir tunes.
Hello!
What size/resolution did you play in? We had some UI issues on smaller screen sizes unfortunately, which might be the reason for your bug.
yeah the bottom lines were cut off sometimes during gameplay. (I forgot to mention that there was also the button in the bottom-left)
it is possible to win, right?
Yep, the goal is to survive enough turns at which point the dragon will let you go!
Well. That's it. I seduced a dragon.
Only the best games have dragon-seducing mechanics. ;)
Interesting idea but in the end it's just a diaglouge system.
Thanks for playing! We intended to include more RPG-y elements like "health" bars indicating the dragon's emotions, consumable items that guaranteed a certain mood change and other things to make it align more with a battle system, but alas time constraints forced us to leave them out. It's definitely something we're looking to fix for the future!
Well that was strange. I died twice. Both times from being too boring.
Good concept. I'm not sure how it would go playing a full RPG like this. It would certainly be a grind-free game if you did make it so that would be nice.
The music fit pretty well and some of the options were humorous. Overall I enjoyed playing. Thanks for making this!
Thanks! Our musician was very happy to read your reply!
Unfortunately a bug made it into the game that changed the boring / charming meters (charming answers raised boredom, which is what I assumed happened to you). It was an easy typo but since we can't update the game during the jam, the dragon simply has to be a bit capricious.
I enjoyed the game to some extent. It was intriguing. It was difficult to determine how I was doing, however that may be the point. In any case well done!

Interesting conversation simulator. Little bit opaque about how well the conversation is going, but the varied dialogue choices kept me entertained for a bit. Well done :)

The aesthetic and the idea is really cool! I think the execution could be better tuned, some texts go beyond the text box and the grammar is weird in some cases... but other than that, I liked it!
Thanks! We did have some UI problems that we did not have the time to fix before the gamejam ended and the writing could have used a few more re-reads before being pushed. It's definitely something we look to fix for the future! :)
