Wow! The best part by far was the music, but the fishsprites were almost as polished! I loved the legsy one <3
Sooooo, tell me, where can I listen to the music on repeat? Do you have a bandcamp or soundcloud?
Nice to hear that you like the music!
Of course there is a SoundCloud! And the jam music is uploaded! Take a look here: https://soundcloud.com/victorseven
Regards from the composer! ^o^
Nice and relaxing game, good use of the theme. Beautiful cover art!
Beautiful art, relaxing music, it fits the theme quite well and overall it's a nice and enjoyable game :)
Nice and relaxing game, really well done.
I liked the art and the music, both top notch, design wise it's really well thought out, especially the music change when the marlin shows up ( because i don't know my fish and i'm not a native english speaker :p so i had no idea what a marlin looked like) the game feel is good the controls are responsive
Congrats to you ! :)
Wow, thank you very much for your kind comment! We're glad you liked it! :D
No prob, it was really fun :)
Nice. I do think you could have allowed more chances to catch the marlin while still sticking to the "only one" theme.
Great atmosphere, especially in the abyss. :-)
I loved the graphics and the music!
I didn't know how the marlin looked like, but the change in music and the extra glow on it made it easy to identify.
Nice, thank you very much! Several players, though, had some problem identifying the fish, we may add some extra-hint after the jam ends...
Very interesting game with gorgeous graphics :D
Super relaxing game. I gained peace of mind by the end of it
Glad I know what a Marlin looks like! This game reminds me of Frogger if it was one-dimensional. Would've made a nice touch if you put a shark in it for shark week ;) Nice, chill game!
Check out our submission here.
Nice only one chance fishing game, with relaxing music. The artwork is pretty sweet. Good job guys! :)
Amazing art (even though the fish with human legs is somewhat disturbing) and great music (especially the energetic one playing in the abyss, which feels a bit out of place given that the player has lost there). In terms of gameplay it's a bit basic, but I still enjoyed it for it's calming atmosphere.
My godot game: https://njamster.itch.io/wonkey (playable in browser, not mobile friendly)
Awesome game guys! I like how simple yet fun and engaging it is, we also submitted a fishing game for the jam, check it out if you get a chance!
That's a really chill game, with beautiful art. I like it! :)
I really liked the calm atmosphere to this! It's impressive how you were able to create this wonderful art and music in just two days!
Nice one! it wasn't obvious at first which one I needed to catch :) (okay I didn't read the instructions in details before starting :) )
the concept is classic and you don't feel really involved gameplay-wise, I wish there was more to do than left clicking each a few seconds. The 2d art is gorgeous though, considering the jam creation conditions. Good job overall!
I really like the art, animation, and music. Although, it's not clear which fish to catch - good job otherwise.
We think that realising of what is the correct fish is part of the game, and tried to make it more or less evident. However, you are not the first player to point that out, so we may rework it after the voting. The most important hint is the music, that changes when just before the fish is going to appear. Also the marlin size and effects are different :D
Thank you very much for you feedback!
Love the art
Fun! There's been so many fishing games / fishing minigames out there and I like how this one puts a whole new spin on how to catch rarer fish via skill and patience. Plus, great art!
Great art and style.
