It looks really nice and smooth.
The gameplay become repetitive fast but it's fun for a while.
Congrats!

Haha cool idea and nice work! We had a pretty similar idea :D Unluckily we didn't manage to upload a Browser build :/ If you have some spare time you can check out ours https://itch.io/jam/gmtk-2019/rate/463199
Nicely done! I love the fade in/out when you switch the music on and off: that's a very nice touch.
It would be nice if the Space key would select menu items and restart the game after you die instead of having to use Enter.
I had a lot of trouble training myself which side to be on at the end of the platforms. That felt backwards to me for some reason. I think I wanted to "jump" through and "up" to the next platform, instead of just waiting to fall off the end? It always felt like the next platform was too far away and that you'd fall through the gap if you just ran off the end, so maybe a subtle jump/ramp shape at the end of the platforms would help? Or maybe it's just me.
But yeah. A fun infinite runner and lots of nice polish.
The game is very nice! I like the coherence of the whole theme of the game, the music, the graphics, etc. Well done
Music way hyype, did you make that as well?
Gameplay was fun. I found myself trying to jump between platforms with space, wonder if that's just a person hiccup or something that could be taught through level design.
Great time + leaderboards!
Simple concept, nicely executed. The music was a nice touch to the joyful theme. Enjoyable game, though quite hard.
I will say now that I'm really rubbish at these games, so I **would** comment on the difficulty, but that's unfair because I'm just geniunly bad at these
I really enjoyed the music though, and though despite the simple art, it suited the game play and music.
While the gameplay is pretty unique, I will say that I'm not a biggest fan of the interpretation of `only one`, to mean `only one button`. But it did end up allowing an interesting theme so I'll let it pass.
I do wish there was a build on this for mobile though ;v, it seems like it'd be nice and would work on a phone
Overall a good submission!

Nice game, I got 199 points and then decided to stop :)
The juice in this is great.
Cannons a bit janky though, most of the time they don't hit me even though the bullet is clearly on me and sometimes I just die for no reason.
Not bad, not bad at all! Thanks :D
Yeah - I actually toned down the accuracy of the cannons a lot and reduced the collision mask for the jam release. Since it's a game jam people don't tend to spend long playing a game so I figured lowering the difficulty would be a good idea so that people can make some good progress in one or two attempts!
So the cannons aren't really a threat unless they hit a direct bullseye!
Awesome game bro, loved the theme so to say all the aspects, just one thing that you can add is a tutorial to guide the use and add more fun. i would really like to know in which engine you made this great game, how you achieved this awesome graphics?
Cheers! The tutorial at the start is very short - I actually did this on purpose since you can just restart if you fail so, your first attempt ends up sort of being a tutorial! Maybe something a bit clearer may have been good though (something for the post jam!).
It's made in GMS2. The graphics were actually very simple to do - it's all basic geometric shapes! But it all comes together to look rather nice (if I do say so myself!)
Really polished feeling auto-scroller. I feel like I got surprisingly far for not really knowing what what happening at times. Also wasn't sure how the life system was working, thought I only had three lives but I definitely got hurt more than three times. Overall though the music and style is amazing and makes for a simple yet addictive game feel
Wow, I'm not usually a huge fan of endless runners, but you managed to make the concept feel interesting and original. I like that you have the leaderboards working too.
Pretty fun to play. Some of the obstacles like the spikes that switch sides and enemies that shoot at you are a bit hard to read and feel unfair.
