Wow what a game. Super interesting controls and fun to play. Love the concept. Absolutely hate the noise after a command gets sent through though haha!

Developer

Thanks! And we'll keep it in mind during next game jam :)

Submitted(+1)

This was so clever, really the perfect game for this jam. I only wish there were more enemy types with more health in the end. I've really nothing negative to say, good job man.

Developer

Thank you! :)

And your feedback about more enemies is spot-on!

Submitted(+1)

Supercool but a bit to hard for me in the long run.

Developer

Thanks for playing :)

The atmosphere of controlling the submarine underwater and the gameplay got me engaged. The simple principle of pressing only one button to play makes the game both easy and hard at the same time. Very good game jam entry. Pozdrawiam ;)

Developer

Thank you, good sir! :)

Również pozdrawiam ;)

That's a good realisation of "only one" and Morse! I liked that nice atmosphere and sound design. I thought that we would have some rare obstacles to evade, so player needed to move more often, not only for coins or good shooting position. Also, at the max level upper gun had minimum delay, when lower gun didn't change its shooting speed. Is it a bug or do we upgrade only the upper gun?

I want to see a full version of that game, that has a lot of Potench.

Developer(+1)

Thank you for sucha a great feedback!

That might me a bug, will have to investigate

We wanted to add obstacles to avoid, but as always the time run out :D

Please don't tempt us with a full game idea ;-) but thank you for the words of encouragements!

Fun game.
It would be nice if I did not have to navigate to the different rooms all the time.
Like maybe just make commands only work to activate a specific room without having to go into the main room all the time.
 Other than that, great game.

If you have a moment, check out my game: https://itch.io/jam/gmtk-2019/rate/463297

Developer

That's an interesting idea! Thanks :)

It's reaaaaally good =)
A little too slow but I enjoyed it!! I was surprised that even the menu was controlled by morse!!

Developer

Thank you! We wanted to to make the game as internally consistent as we could in the time we had so it's very nice to hear such feedback :)

And the the game being on the slower side: true, but we figured it might be better then overwhelming with unusual controls ;)

Submitted(+1)

Just wow, one of the best games in the jam I have yet played; You had me pretty invested into the game, I see an enemy get to close, I get the command for the guns wrong, and I start panicking :p

really well executed game you got there, The only thing I was really missing was a soundtrack. ^^

-------

We made a game as well, check it out if you want to and have a few minutes to spare! ^^

Developer

Wow, didn't expect the game to evoke such emotions! But it's very nice to hear :)

Thanks for playing and the feedback

I feel like it was a bit unresponsive, (or my spacebar could be busted but i've never had problems so far). I would hold for a dash then quickly press once for a dot but it would count as 2 dashes, making it quite difficult and at points frustrating for me to play the game.

I still think that its a solid game, i loved the audio, the artstyle and the idea.

As a whole, amazing!

Developer

Thank you for your feedback :)

What you described is something we feared might happen and tried to adjust timings to eliminate it - as you experienced, not always successfully - perhaps if we offered an option to adjust them that would help...

BTW: Did you try the Windows build? Compared to WebGL it might be more responsive

Submitted(+1)

I didn't even notice the Windows build but i have tried it now and it is indeed more responsive! WebGL builds do mess up things like these sometimes :/.  A way better experience this time!

Again, great game!

Developer

Awesome! :)

Submitted(+1)

a bit easy but i played it all the way til the end so it was pretty good :)

Developer

Thanks and I'm glad you liked it :)

Submitted(+1)

Dividing the sections up wasn't a good idea. It would have been so much fun if there was a simple manual book telling you what each code meant. Memorizing/Mastering it could have been really fun.

Developer

Interesting ideas, thanks for the feedback!

Submitted(+1)

This is amazing. Please make it a full game.

Very, very minor nitpicking: Make it so you can shoot enemies close to the middle with both guns cause it can be hard to see whether they are above or below the submarine.

Developer

Thank you, your feedback is very much appreciated by the whole team :)

That's a great idea! And would also make it more important to maneuver the sub :)

Submitted(+1)

aaaaa this is the best thing :)

Developer

Thanks!

This is a wonderful game. I bounced off it to start with, but trying again I found it really easy to control and enjoy. I will say that I didn't quite get that you could go back and do other things while something was still set. A very nice game. An adjustment for sound effects would be good as the high pitched beeps can grate a bit after a while.

It's surprising how frantic little morse code snippets can get.  Reminded me of mashing musical notes with my keyboard during a rhythm test. This was cool.

Developer(+1)

It was kinda an inspiration  for us ;)

Wave 7 was end for me. No enemies showed up then. But the game on the other hand, that is awesome! I mean, morse code! Who ever thought of that?! I mean, you did! Great work. Please work on this game in the future and hit me up, i wanna play future releases.

Stay crunchy.

Developer(+1)

Thank you for your lovely feedback! Such comments make the late nights coding worth it :)

(+1)

No enemies ever showed up for me, but I love the concept and atmosphere!

Developer

Sorry to hear that :(

Did also happen on the Windows build?

Amazing game!
