Really cool action and smooth controls! Very fun! I really like how the enemies have hearts above their heads and there is a cool variety of enemy types. Please check out my action game if you have the time~ https://neatgames.itch.io/only-one-arrow
Thank you, I've checked your game.
First and foremost, the pixel-art is amazing.
second, the game is actually rather well designed and has a rather nice variety of enemies as well.
third, there isn't really too much wrong with the game, maybe it can a get a little to chaotic at times........a dodge function would be nice
Thank you for playing. Dodge currently is planned.
Loved the main character! I enjoyed running around the arena and dodging fireballs/knives. This game is intense xD
Thank you.
Fun. Idk why but the mouse cursor couldn't stand inside the game window.
Thank you, could you show a screenshot of this bug?
No because when I screenshot mouse doesn't appear inside the screenshot.
I enjoyed this! It feels very polished (ignoring sound) and I like all the little details you've worked on (smoothing out pickups etc). One thing I would add would be a 'maximum damage over time cap', i.e. you can't take full health damage instantly (as that happens later on sometimes). So maybe just cap the maximum damage you can take each tick or something. Good job! A nice challenging game.
Thank you for feedback. There is some problems with a big guy balance and it can kiil you almost instantly, However, you give some interesting idea for a future builds.
very nice animations and pixel art! I love the style :)
Thanks. I used this sprite set.
Scored 1,470! One of the better games using this mechanic that I've seen so far - great game :)
Thank you, I did my best.
Great game! Controller feels good, the spear mechanic is very satisfying when you it land through multiple enemies. The only thing the game is lacking is a bit more music and sound effects. which will make the game even more juicy. I also like the enemies spawn telegraphing and the diversity of enemies as the game progress.
Thanks. Yes, telegrathing is a vital part of the fight as you have to plan your movement.
I don't know what counts as a high score, but after playing multiple times my highest score was 3280.
Anyways the game is great. Everything about the game makes it feel like a complete game. The only two things holding the feeling back is the lack of audio and the simple arena tile set. However, I do understand the limits of a 48 hour jam so that's not really a problem.
Gameplay is fun and challenging. However there is a bit of room to expand on this idea. I think a dodge mechanic could have been a nice addition, especially when the game got chaotic. Also it would be cool if there were power-ups that would allow you to call your spear back. it could even be a one time use and you'd have to grab drops from the enemies to refile it. I'm just throwing out ideas
Overall a very polished and fun game. I really enjoyed playing it.
If you have the time and you haven't tried out our entry "Happy Accident". please give it a try: https://itch.io/jam/gmtk-2019/rate/463041
Thank you! I'm going to add some kind of dodge. Speaking about power-ups, I'm pondering them and you give me some ideas!
Fun and short timekiller, nicely executed. Please add sound effects and music to it. This would increase the juicyness even more.
Loved the litte details you put effort into, like the lerping of the spear transform if you pick it up and the cool animations.
If you want to, please try our game. We would like to hear your thoughts about it :)

Thank you, these small procedural animations are very important part of the player experience.
Wow, good work! Really like this little dinosaur. Looks polished!
Thank you, I spent a lot of time on playtesting.
Great job mate! The sprites are awesome and gameplay feels satisfying. Super hard but that makes it better!
Thank you, yes it's hard, but I want to make difficulty curve smoother and more enjoyable.
loved the bullet hell vibe it got after a while but didn't like that the big guys could insta kill me from full health, maybe limit the number of simultaneous hits you can take so it can't just slaughter you at once. got to 1240 points
Thank you, big guys was added to the game last minute and they're completely disbalanced, indeed. I'm going to fix them in the future versions.
Probably the best submission I have played so far. The art, animations, controls, and design were all spot on. Could definitely benefit from some sounds, but overall great job!
Thanks. I'll make some new versions with sounds and some adjustments.
solid game for just 48 hr!
Thank you, I did my best!
Very good arcade game, it's fun and challenging hahaha. The art style is neat :D
It could be a bit hard, it needs a bit of balancing, the first enemies move to quick and you are easily swarm by all the other in 30 seconds of play, but overall a really fun and good game. Nice work!
Thank you, I have plans to rebalance the game in the future.
Great game from what I saw but I'm really bad at it. Great first 15 seconds ^^!
I'm happy that you spend good 15 seconds in my game. XD
Nah I spent more cause I made multiple tries but I really suck lol ^^
Very nice implementation of a solid idea. Love the art!
Thank you! The art isn't my, but you can get it here.
Very neat. I like this interpretation of the theme as it encompasses the concept of "normally you have many but now only one" in a perfect fit
Thanks.
Nice work on this one :). It feels pretty polished and has a good visual style. I would've liked some basic sounds or maybe a bit more screenshake (probably a personal preference, though). Overall I think it's nicely made and a great entry.
Thank you!
