Gameplay could be more advanced in my opinion. Nice graphics, though

It was quite charming, but it wasn't a lot of fun, you just look around clicking blues and nothing is really happening, and then suddenly you're swarmed with them and a swift loss is just inevitable, i really like the idea and the presentation was phenomenal, loved the monochrome isometric hand  drawn style, with a few building your city aspects like creating buildings to supress the opposers or hire patrolling guards this game could become a very nice iteration on the idle clicker genre, really liked it overall!

Nice! It was a little confusing when I lost, but I had fun. Keep up the good work!

The art is stunning and on point, the theme is captivating, but the actual gameplay could use work. It simply boiled down to "clicking on everything that was blue".

It is really fun game, but I think people should do something more to lower your authority then just move around, along with that there should be also some improvement how to handle it.

Developer

thanks! Yea you’re right. This was also my first game jam and I’m mainly glad that we got this game somewhat finished. We planned for more but didn’t have the time to implement it.

Great art style, but I did not feel enough initiative to detain the citizens. If I would be building something and they would mess with it or something...

Anyway, my authoritarian regime has quickly failed. Power to the people!

Developer

thanks. We also had something like that in mind, but it was far down on our to-do list and so it didn’t make it.

So the visual are stunning, what you managed to do in this short amount of time is very good. But I think the camrea doesnt feel so good and the gameplay gets boring after you played one match. But if you expand a little (put in some kind of grenade that removes sveral people at once") the game could becombe really fun.

Developer

Thank you! Yea, we know that there is content missing. We actually implemented the police from the main menu, but I didn’t get it to function properly in time so we had to scrap it…

I love the clean isometric artwork, it's simple but has such a clear aesthetic!
The game is fun and made feel bad tbh. :D

Developer(+1)

Thank you^^ I mean that’s kind of the point of it ;D

Looks awesome but when I launch it the screen is full but only the center of my monitor is used and I can not see any of the menus or UI if there is any.

Damn, I ruled the world for a solid two and a half minutes...

Mechanics wise, adding some other colors to other people might make it a bit more interesting (and banning a specific colour / colours), but it was amazing for a short game, and the art style is really nice.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing! we wanted to add further characters like a police man and split it color wise into enemies (blue tones), allies (red tones) and neutrals (white).

So the presentation is great, but the gameplay doesn't really do much for me... until the people started coming out in crowds. Then the whole thing clicks and the mechanics really sing. Great work doing a social commentary in a 48 hour game jam!

Developer

Thank you! Yea, we had some trouble balancing it… we were planing on adding other characters, maybe it would have been more interesting.

Developer (1 edit)

free to use music, sound effects created during jam. Hope you have some fun wit hit!

The core is implemented, but we didn’t manage to implement everything we wanted (by far….)
