Pretty interesting concept! I felt like there needed to be more of a reason to move around. I ended up just setting all of my units in the center of the screen and switched between them when I needed them. But I would say it probably has some potential with a bit more design.
yeah, you are right. The difficulty could have used some work, and maybe I should have added more reasons to move units around. Maybe some other obstacles like enviromental hazards or something like that. Thanks for the feedback!
This is a lot of fun! Very straightforward, but still managed to surprise me with different configurations of enemies. Well done!
Nice, simple, easy to understand and really fun!
Great game, it's fun, but it's kinda repetitive. But still, i had a great time playing this. The only downside of this game for me is the switching mechanic where you have to right-click the tanks. I don't know if it's intentional but i think it would be great if you map a shortcut to switch tanks in the keyboard. Overall, a great game!
Thanks! I did add that, but forgot to add a tutorial text for it...
Really fantastic game! Lots of fun, interesting well executed concept and I didn't notice any bugs! One of the best I've played in the jam.
Thanks a lot!
Like the idea to switch your roles over and over again. It will be great if the player can have more abilities to switch
one of the best games i played fun-wise! really nice. you could add short cut keys for every unit to make swapping smoother.
Thanks! I have implemented shortcuts at the last minute (numbers 1-3) but forgot to add a textbox for it...
This is a really fun game!! Having to alternate between the 3 different units to beat different enemies works really well, and it makes for a really fun fast paced game! Well done :D
PS: If you'd like, please try out my game :))
Artwork could have used some work but the general gameplay was fun! The canon unit was a little overpowered and I managed to complete almost every level by using only that one!
I didn't have a lot of time for balancing, so thanks for the feedback!
Smooth simple game, felt really polished. Would love to try it on mobile!
I like how the game requires you to pay attention to all of your units to figure out how to get to the next level. Maybe add more textures and a soundtrack but other than that, you've made a really cool game well done
Thanks!
interesting mechanics ! would have been even better with some textures :D Great job for 48 hours !
I liked it a lot! I found myself favoring the first unit and only switching to the other two when I needed to break a shield; an interesting twist might be to have objectives other than destroying all of the turrets, which would make it possible to complete levels with the other two units.
I had a few more mechanics planned, but ran out of time before I could implement them. Thanks for the feedback!
I liked the idea and only found out you can swap with 123 after I beat the game. It was pretty fun although I found most levels for me boiled down to only using 1 or 2 turrets. I think a penalty for not using the other turrets other than the enemy shields might make it a bit more intense. Overall it was pretty fun.
Thanks! Yeah, I really could have communicated the input a bit better... As for the turret situation, lowering the turret health might have been a solution, because you'd have to use it to avoid the incoming bullets.
I think maybe also something like a dynamic environment may be interesting if you plan to make more of this game in the future. Something like electric floors to have to avoid as well as enemy shots could force players to think about their positioning even before the round starts.
Enviromental changes could have been nice, but the room was pretty small already, and making the room bigger would mean I have to make a camera which would have been difficult for 3 players.
Interesting idea. It gets pretty intense when you have to constantly switch characters. The difficulty should be higher because in most levels you don't really need to move your characters.
Thanks! I may have over-compensated on the difficulty because all my previous jam-entries were super-hard. Well it should be an easy fix by lowering the player's healt. Thanks for the feedback!
