I loved the digital pen pal aspect, the core mechanic of just decoding was really enjoyable and meditative. The chill atsmophere helped this stand out. Great work!
I like the atmosphere. This concept is definitely unique, never seen something removely similar. It managed to grab my attention for a pretty long time, although I never thought that translating things could be fun.
The translation text input is a bit buggy, and it caused me to lose the entire translation a couple of times. I wish the screen was bigger so the translator thing would not overlap with stuff. Also, some symbols were hard to read and required staring at the monitor, which adds some eye strain. Finally, I think there was too little time to translate stuff, at least for me.
Nonetheless, great job!
Very soothing and enjoyable atmosphere, almost poetic! Maybe you could have started with small messages or a limited alphabet just to kick things off?
This game is really cool, super unique gameplay and approach to the theme! Very neat, great work!
very good job man. I loved it.
The idea is interesting. The music and the art are nice.
This is nice, it feels very wholesome. The art and music choices I think add to that very well. Assuming it wasn't a design choice, I would have liked more a bigger window or something so that I didn't have to keep moving the translation book back and forth to be able to read both.
It was more a time decision more than a design choice (not adjusting this to a more common resolution lol). Will keep updating this game because i like the vibes so yeah window resolution and ui is expected to be improved :)
Nice little game :D
Really liked the atmosphere and the background music. It sure is a relaxing game.
The translating part is a bit tedious. After a while, you memorize the symbols and don't have to look at the translator that often, but it's really slow in the beginning.
How about first have some very short letters with repeating characters and then slowly ramp up the difficulty? This way, players can actually memorize the entire alphabet piece by piece.
Take a look at our game if you get the chance :)
Thanks for your feedback! I think that's a great idea to improve the game flow. :D
Of course, i will check out your game.
this concept is so neat and the music is sooo nice - great job!
Great concept! :)
Nice game! I feel like there's should be more to it since it feels tedious quick since all you do is just translating text, and the small window is also a bit frustrating, but it is still a really beautiful game.
Thanks for your feedback :)! Will take this in consideration to improve the experience.
Very interesting idea! Well done!
I accidentally selected all the text at one point and deleted it though, which was frustrating. Maybe consider disabling that if you work on this more?
Seriously enjoyed your game, nice work!
Yeah, there is details like this that i wanted to change. Sure will do, i will make the features more comfortable and intuitive :)
I liked the concept and atmosphere of this game, but I'm not really sure what happened after I finished translating the first letter (couldn't proceed?).
There is a button that lets you make a reply letter and then you can send the reply. If the button is not there then it is a bug.
Great game!
This one was really interesting! I loved solving the puzzles and guessing as to what would come next.
The music choice was excellent.
Great job!
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it :) <3
