Neat concept! I included it in my GMTK Game Jam compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :)

How does your game fit the theme?
The player character can not rotate by itself and has to use rotational plates on the floor to do so - so it is out of control. Also enemy waves get slowly out of control.

Really nice-feeling, especially for game jam game. The lack of control really added a lot of interest to the gameplay, and was a really unique twist! The game was really challenging because of it though, and it would be nice if there was some way to dodge or avoid enemies while you move across the arena, since it's really easy to just get mobbed and not have a safe direction to move in. Overall it was really enjoyable!
Great game! The shooting felt really tight, and having to dodge the enemies while getting to another plate so you can rotate to shoot them was fun!
Juice and art felt quite nice. I'm was not blown away by how the game works since most of the time you'll just walk around the arena but it's still a decent try and quite pleasant to play :)
I really enjoyed the game. I thought your take on stepping on the plate to change orientation is really cool (better than randomly changing the input like I see in a lot of games). I don't know if this would make the game better but maybe having the player be able to wrap around the map. This would prevent player to get stuck in the corner or the side of the map. Other than that, I think this is a good take on the theme. Good job!
I love your art style. The game is simple and fun. One way to expand your mechanic is to change the tiles randomly to make things more challenging.
Out of the other "top down shooter where you can't control where you shoot" I think this is the most fun. Excellent work - the juice and feel to this game is SO NICE AND JUST RIGHT! I love that you have to run around the whole map to find the right location to shoot, and that there's a line showing where the raycast hits, it still gives the player some way to control where they want to shoot and adapt around it. Nice work! Maybe some randomisation of where the rotation pads are between runs could be a nice addition, or different gun types?
thank you so much for your comment :)
I really like your suggestions. It could be interesting to implement the heuristic for placing the plates in a fair way, so the individual runs are still comparable from a difficulty perspective. Some layouts could be really tough to play :D Multiple gun types could be fun as well!
Thanks again ;)
I loved your game!
The sounds are great and the gameplay is awesome!!
Nice job!! :)
Another cool original 'controls' twist! Pretty fun and tough, if a bit straightforward. Some added moves or enemy types could be good to shake things up
Very cool concept; was interesting to try kiting enemies together to make good use of firing in the current direction. That being said, it was hard as hell! XD I would be in agreement with some of the other comments; a dash-ability or more forgiving hitboxes would make it better. Or possibly a larger arena to allow you to give a tad more room to maneuvre!
Great work! :)
The most original mechanics I've seen in this GJ so far. It converts the famous "shoot to move" into "move to shoot". However, the game should be significantly polished. The character lacks mobility, speed, or a dash-like ability, while the enemies are incredibly fast and almost impossible to stop.
I hope that Mark will mention this game in his video)
Great job!
Nice game ! The mechanics is cool and I'd love to see some twist like a dash that invert your direction or moving plates !
