Fun game! I liked the audio. It was nice to get moving and crushing to be stopped. Great work!

I liked the random generation. Each map was sufficiently decorated, and the cities were all just the right size for desecrating! It was a nice touch to make the roads connect to each other. I really loved the atmosphere change when I tore through a city.

I like the inertia based control scheme paired with the dash ability. It was satisfying to build up speed and avoid obstacles. The joy of moving in this game made it particularly frustrating to lose momentum by running into fortresses or missiles.

An excellent game overall. Good job!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback I really appreciate it.  Yeah I think the movement would take a lot of fine tuning and care to get just right. One thing I didn't add but we thought about was near your max speed being able to blast through walls instead of bouncing, which I think would have been the right call.

But hopefully will do something about all that in a post jam version!

This is a cool game. Great audio and visual feedback. I liked the inertia on the player which fits "out of control," but I wish you could move a little faster more quickly.

Yeah that was mostly due to the evolution of the idea. Would like to make it snappier if I did a future version. Did you use the dash ability much? It gives you a huge speed boost and lets you change direction instantly.

I mostly used the dash to continue moving in the same direction, good to know.

The art and audio style really complemented each other. Good job

Really like the sound design. Good simple pixelart but did the job :) The idea is really cool aswell. One but annoying thing was the heave movement combined with timer.

Loved it. The missile towers were a little frustrating though. Maybe reduced the amount of push-back. The graphics were cool and the sound effects really made me feel like a monster. I also loved how the screen tinted a little whenever  you were in a city. Great work :)

Excellent artwork, pretty fun game.

Pixel art looks great, I really like the different tiles, kind of reminds me of Advanced Wars. The cover art looks especially stunning! I like the idea of controlling a giant destructive monster, which is especially well-executed paired with the large map you can traverse. All around solid game!

Great pixel graphics, really well presented!
