Shoot to move huh? You daredevil ;-) In all seriousness, I like the concept a lot, the game feels and looks good, but DAMN does it feel a bit too 'out of control' for me. I just couldn't pass the second level, no matter how hard I tried. When the red blocks started moving it just got so hard, because you can't coordinate your movement at all. I did really like the bounciness of the walls, which added another layer of difficulty. Anyway, good job on this entry!

great game ! I love the "uncontrollable" controls

Amazing game! The idea is also very interesting, good work on the presentation. Hope you enjoyed this jam, keep creating games!

Me before I picked up the weapon: "Aw, it's nice how you bounce off the walls." I regreted it later xD.

The shooting can totally just randomly kill you. I found it hard to use. Some parts were fun, others were just rage-inducing :).

The colors are great! Maybe you could have sticked to an even smaller palette - the blue and orange feel a little extra. The background is a bit messy, but it gives the game a cool look! Nice game.

Thanks :)

The game feels nice in terms of graphics! I think you need to work a bit on the controls, which would make the game even more fun. Other than that, perfectly executed concept!

Thanks you :)

The concept is really good and the visuals also support the theme nicely. Well done!

Very well done, I enjoyed playing this game a lot! I love the simple but beautiful visuals. My one suggestion is that the random firing of the gun was a bit too difficult to plan for so I would find myself just hitting random buttons and hoping for the best.

Great work!

Thanks for your review!  And I'll try to fix that in to the future :)

You really nailed the presentation. I love how the music kicks up once you get the gun. I also really dig the gameplay too, it's hectic and keeps you on your toes! One thing I'd add though is an indicator for the gun so that you know when the gun will shoot. Without it I think this game is a bit too difficult and random.

The visuals are really cool! Very simple, but with enough effects to make the game feel energetic!

The main mechanic is a "classic", but it is well implemented, with a good balance between the speed of the ship and the propulsion of the shooting. The main issue is the random aspect... Since it's unpredictable, it makes difficult sections quite unfair. I've been able to reach the fourth level (the one introducing square ennemies), but wasn't able to beat it despite several attempts. I knew it very well, but each time I tried it I just could not anticipate my actions. Or maybe the game should be less punitive to leave some rooms to errors? I don't know, but at some point I had to give up.

Not without regret though, because otherwise it controls really great, the level-design is varied & interesting, and it even procures good sensations! It's just too easy to die for dumb reasons when your ship becomes uncontrollable for no reason.^^'

Thanls for your review, I'll try to dolve that on the future and if you want to see the complete game you can skip the levels with the key "L" :)

Nice game, really like the look and sound of it. But to be honest, I didn't like the controls. Something felt a little off about it.

Good Game one of the best I've played so far.   I actually  wanted to keep playing but more games must be rated.  I'm gonna keep this one in the hard-drive this is a solid unique game.   You should make this into a full game for a price.

Thank you very much, these words always make you happy and it may make it a complete game in the future :)

Good rage game. I almost smashed my laptop into pieces. (Exaggeration)

Good concept and I dig the simple style! This game is pretty difficult though, I was doing horribly on the second level.

I have little concerns about art, color schemes or the randomly flying particles.

Apart from that, totally loved and enjoyed it. :D

Good game with an original concept, ordering on the rage  on some point but that's what makes its charm ^^ , 5/5

Thanks, next time I will make sure all objects can be distinguished from the background :)

Excellent game I loved the music. I see you took the shoot to move meme to heart. But this was pretty well executed. The homing enemies had poor visibility which could have been improved.

I ran into an issue with the knock back from the bullets pushing the player into walls, and getting stuck as the collisions masks got caught on each other.

I like the idea of using projectiles for locomotion, and the artwork is good.
